TERMS OF USE OF YANDEX ID SERVICE

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms of Use of Yandex ID Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") govern the use of the Yandex ID Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"), through which Users can create and manage Yandex ID accounts for the purpose of using Yandex services provided by the affiliated entities of the legal persons listed below (hereinafter referred to as the "Yandex services").

By using the Service, the User is deemed to have accepted these Terms in full and to have entered into an agreement for the provision of the Service without any reservations or exceptions in accordance with these Terms with one of the following entities:

(a) ID Tech LLC, a legal entity established and operating under the laws of the Russian Federation (OGRN (Primary State Registration Number) - 1247700819233), having its registered office at: 16 Lev Tolstoy Street, Moscow, 119021, Russia, if the User has linked a mobile phone number connected to a telecom operator from the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus, to its Yandex ID account;

(b) Y. Izdeu & Jarnama LLP, a legal entity established and operating under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan (registration number - 170240015454), having its registered office at: 11/1 Al-Farabi Avenue, Bostandyk District, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, postal code 050059, if the User has linked a mobile phone number connected to a telecom operator from the Republic of Kazakhstan to its Yandex ID account;

(c) Büyük Reklam Çözümleri Limited Şirketi, a legal entity established and operating under the laws of the Republic of Turkey (registration number 477257-5), having its registered office at: Halaskargazi Mah. Halaskargazi Cd. No:38-66/E İç Kapı No:215 Şişli/ İstanbul, if the User has linked a mobile phone number connected to a telecom operator from the Republic of Turkey to its Yandex ID account;

(d) IE TashGisTechnologies LLC, a legal entity established and operating under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan (registration number - 998615), having its registered office at: 2 Shahrisabz Street, Yunusabad district, Tashkent city, Republic of Uzbekistan, if the User has linked a mobile phone number connected to a telecom operator from the Republic of Uzbekistan to its Yandex ID account;

(e) ADVT Invest Holding doo Beograd, a legal entity established and operating under the laws of the Republic of Serbia (registration number - 21964638), having its registered office at: Bulevar Vojvode Bojovica 12 11000 Stari Grad, Belgrade, if the User has linked a mobile phone number connected to a telecom operator from a country not specified above to its Yandex ID account.

Users who have registered a Yandex ID account without using a mobile phone number and who have not subsequently linked a mobile phone number to their account shall be deemed to have entered into an agreement for the provision of the Yandex ID Service with ID Tech LLC.

When changing the phone number linked to the Yandex ID account to a phone number connected to a telecom operator in another country, the rights and obligations under the agreement concluded with Yandex in accordance with these Terms shall be transferred from one entity providing the Yandex ID service to another in accordance with the rules described above, taking into account that the functionality of the Service provided by such other entity may differ.

Hereinafter, each of the above legal entities shall be referred to as "Yandex" for convenience.

1.2. These Terms form an addendum and an integral part of the Yandex Services User Agreement regarding the use of Yandex services.

In all matters not covered by these Terms, the relations between Yandex and the User in using the Yandex ID shall be governed by:

  • Yandex Services User Agreement;
  • Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulatory Documents").

The User hereby understands and agrees that their personal data is collected and processed in connection with the use of the Service in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

1.3. By starting to use the Service or certain functions thereof, the User shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and conditions of all of the above documents, in full, without any reservations or exceptions. If the User disagrees with any of the provisions of the above documents, the User shall not use the Service.

1.4. Yandex may amend these Terms without any special notice; the revised Terms shall come into effect once posted online at the URL specified in this paragraph, unless otherwise stipulated in the revised Terms.

In the event of a discrepancy between different language versions of these Terms, the following version shall prevail: for Users who have entered into an agreement in accordance with Clause 1.1. hereof with ID Tech LLC - the Russian version; for Users who have entered into an agreement in accordance with Clause 1.1. hereof with Y. Izdeu & Jarnama LLP - the Kazakh version; for Users who have entered into an agreement in accordance with Clause 1.1. hereof with Büyük Reklam Çözümleri Limited Şirketi - the Turkish version; for Users who have entered into an agreement in accordance with Clause 1.1. hereof with IE TashGisTechnologies LLC - Uzbek version; for Users who have entered into an agreement in accordance with Clause 1.1. hereof with ADVT Invest Holding doo Beograd - the English version. Other language versions hereof are provided for convenience only.

1.5. If Yandex has made any amendments to these Terms according to the procedure specified in Clause 1.4 hereof, and the User disagrees with these amendments, the User shall cease using the Service.

1.6. Yandex may transfer its rights and obligations under the agreement for the provision of the Service concluded with the User as a result of acceptance hereof to third parties without prior notice to and consent of the User. If, in accordance with applicable law, it is required to notify the User of such transfer made by Yandex, then the posting of a new version of these Terms indicating the entities providing the Service shall be deemed to be proper notice to the User.

1.7. By using the Service, the User understands that Yandex may send them informational messages, including authorization codes via phone calls, as well as SMS messages or messages in the messenger to which the User's phone number is linked, or by sending a push notification to the mobile application of any Yandex service installed on the User's mobile device.

1.8. The use of Services, authorization in which is available to the User through its Yandex ID account, shall be carried out on the terms of these Services applicable in the relevant country.

1.9. Some features of the Service that are not governed by these Terms may be described in the Help available at - https://yandex.ru/support/id/ru/ (in Russian); https://yandex.com.tr/support/id/tr/ (in Turkish); https://yandex.kz/support/id/kk/ (in Kazakh); https://yandex.com/support/id/en/ (in English). In case of discrepancies, the provisions of these Terms shall apply.

1.10. Some functionality of the Service may not be available for certain types or groups of accounts and in some countries. Some functionality of the Service may only be available in some languages. Yandex is constantly working to improve the Service, striving to provide the same level of quality in all regions. At the same time, due to differences in legislation, technical limitations and Service development processes, not all functionality of the Service may be available simultaneously in all countries.

1.11. The law applicable to the relations arising between Yandex and the User from these Terms shall be the law of the state of registration for the legal entity specified in Clause 1.1. hereof, with which the User has entered into an agreement as a result of accepting these Terms.

1.12. For the avoidance of doubt, the terms "account", "Yandex ID", "profile" and "account" may be used interchangeably in these Terms, unless otherwise follows from specific provisions of these Terms.

1.13. Yandex may modify the functionality of the Service and the design of its interface at its sole discretion.

2. Registration of a User Yandex ID, Authorization with the Use of Yandex ID in Yandex Services

2.1. In order to use some Yandex services or some of individual functions thereof, the User having reached the age of legal capacity in accordance with applicable law, may complete the registration procedure, as a result of which a unique account (Yandex ID) will be created for the User.

If the User has not reached the specified age, as well as in cases required by applicable law, the use of Yandex services shall be permitted only with the consent of parents or other legal representatives (hereinafter referred to as the "Parent"), otherwise the User shall have no right to use Yandex services and create an account in accordance with these Terms.

2.2. The User shall register by filling out the Yandex ID registration form on a special registration page or in the separate Yandex service application, or using alternative means offered in the registration form, an account of a third-party resource, etc.

When registering, the User shall provide a current mobile phone number for the purposes of secure access to Yandex ID, restoring access in the event of loss of account data, communicating with the User on issues of Yandex services (except for advertising communications, unless the User has provided separate consent thereto), protection against abuse among Users (registration of multiple accounts, registration of fictitious accounts, etc.).

Yandex may, at its sole discretion, limit the number of accounts that the User can register for one mobile phone number.

Yandex may limit the User's access to its account if the account does not contain information about the User's first name, last name, and current mobile phone number. Access to the account can be restored after the User provides the missing information.

2.3. Means to Access Yandex ID.

2.3.1. During registration, the User shall independently choose its own user name (a unique symbolic user name) and password to access Yandex ID.

In this case, authorization shall be carried out provided that the login and password are indicated correctly in the authorization form. Yandex may prohibit the use of certain user names, as well as set requirements for login and password (length, allowed characters, etc.).

2.3.2. The User may be given the opportunity to undergo a simplified registration and (or) authorization procedure in Yandex ID, inter alia, by:

2.3.2.1 specifying a mobile phone number (in some cases also indicating the User's last name and first name). The User shall carry out the subsequent authorization in Yandex services by specifying the mobile phone number given during registration and the confirmation code sent to it (it may be necessary to specify the surname and first name provided during registration).

2.3.2.2 using third-party resource accounts (the registration method is not available from December 1, 2023 for some regions).

If the account was previously registered using third-party resource accounts, subsequent authorization and access to services may be unavailable. In order to use the Yandex services functionality in full, the User may need to complete additional registration under the terms and conditions set out in Clause 2.3.1 of the Terms. More detailed information about the means and methods of accessing an account can be found on the Yandex Login page. By choosing this means to access Yandex ID, the User shall agree to receive User data from third-party information resources on the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy. The User shall independently control the reliability of the means of access to a third-party resource selected by it and the safety of credentials.

2.3.2.3 using the functionality of the user's device security system.

The User can set up authorization in Yandex ID by face or fingerprint. This authorization method can be used if the following conditions are met:

1) Available registered account;

2) Support by the User's device of unlocking methods using a fingerprint and/or face image.

Authorization shall be performed provided that the User's device security system receives a message confirming that the fingerprint or face image used for authorization matches the reference information about the User's fingerprint or face image stored in the User's device security system.

WebAuthn technology is used when the User is authorized in Yandex ID by face or fingerprint. Yandex shall neither gain access to the User's fingerprint or face image information, nor collect or otherwise process it.

2.4. The User shall be solely liable for the security (including resistance to guessing) and the safety of the means selected by it to access Yandex ID, and also independently ensure their confidentiality.

In case of loss of access to Yandex ID, the User may follow the account recovery procedure as described on the Yandex ID service support page.

Yandex may refuse to satisfy the User's request to restore access if it is impossible for the User to comply with the established procedure and if there is no confirmation of the User's explicit ownership of the requested Yandex ID.

2.5. In order to ensure the security of User data (or User category), Yandex may determine additional measures to protect Yandex ID, including enhanced account access controls, request additional information and restrict access to Yandex ID in case of suspicious activity.

2.6. After the User logs in to Yandex ID, the authorization may be automatically saved in the device’s browser, so that additional entry of access credentials is not required each time Yandex services are used. The Yandex ID data automatically saved in the device’s browser may be used to access any Yandex services, including services, websites, applications, and other software products.

2.7. The User shall be solely responsible for all actions (as well as their consequences) within or using Yandex services with the User's Yandex ID. All actions performed within or using Yandex services through Yandex ID shall be considered to have been taken by the User, except in cases where the User, in accordance with the procedure provided in Clause 2.8, has notified Yandex of unauthorized access to Yandex services using the User’s Yandex ID and/or of any breach (or suspected breach) of the confidentiality of their Yandex ID access credentials (mobile phone number, password, or two-factor authentication means).

2.7.1. The User shall promptly update the information about the phone number linked to their Yandex ID. If the phone number is not updated in a timely manner, the User shall bear full responsibility for any possible consequences, including unauthorized access to Yandex ID.

2.8. The User shall immediately notify Yandex of any unauthorized (not permitted by the User) access to Yandex services using the User’s account and/or of any breach (or suspected breach) of the confidentiality of their Yandex ID access credentials. Yandex will not be held liable for any possible loss of or damage to data and any other consequences of any kind that may result from the User violating provisions of these Terms.

2.9. For the use of certain Yandex services during authorization, authentication or identification via third-party services (including, but not limited to, government information systems), and also when the User links third-party service accounts to their Yandex ID in the "External Accounts" section of the Yandex ID personal account, the User's personal data received by the Yandex ID service for use by other Yandex services may be processed by the relevant Yandex service for the purposes of providing the Service, as well as in the Yandex ID service for the purposes of authorization/authentication and gaining access to Yandex services, auto-filling of information in Yandex service forms, restoring access in the event of problems with authorization/authentication in Yandex services, application of age restrictions provided for in Yandex services, as well as in other cases provided for by these Terms, or if Yandex has a legitimate interest in performing such actions.

2.10. To ensure the security of the User's data and prevent unauthorized access to the User's account by third parties, Yandex may share information about the phone number linked to the account with the User's mobile operator.

The mobile operator shall notify Yandex of any significant changes to the User's phone number (e.g., reassignment of the number to another mobile user). Yandex may impose restrictions on the User's account in accordance with Clause 2.5 of these Terms as appropriate.

2.11. Users may have the option to link their Telegram profile to their Yandex ID. When linked, Yandex receives the following data from the Telegram provider:

  • Unique user ID (userid);
  • User name (username);
  • And other information transmitted by the Telegram provider in accordance with its internal rules.

All actions performed through applications, chatbots and other similar Yandex service tools within Telegram under a Telegram profile linked to the User’s Yandex ID shall be considered to be taken directly by the User. The linking of a Telegram profile to Yandex ID can be canceled at any time in the Yandex ID personal account. However, canceling the link does not affect actions performed before its cancellation.

3. Yandex ID User Data

3.1. The User shall provide reliable and complete information about itself and to update the information in a timely manner. If the User provides incorrect information or Yandex has reasons to believe that the information provided by the User is incomplete or unreliable, Yandex may, at its sole discretion, block or delete the User's Yandex ID and deny the User use its services (or individual functions thereof).

3.2. User's Yandex ID may contain the following data about the User:

  • Name, surname, patronymic (if any);
  • mobile phone number;
  • e-mail address (primary and secondary);
  • gender;
  • date of birth;
  • addresses specified when using Yandex services;
  • image for the account (account Image);
  • additional settings defined by the User based on its personal preferences;
  • data that the User adds to the "Documents" section in the Yandex ID personal account in accordance with Clause 3.4. of these Terms;
  • data received by Yandex when the User links accounts in other services (information systems) to Yandex ID;
  • data that the User provides about themselves when using Yandex services or data that arises as a result of the User's use of Yandex services.

Account data may be used in Yandex services for the following purposes:

  • authorization and access to Yandex services;
  • information autofill in Yandex service forms;
  • restoring access in case of problems with authorization in Yandex services,
  • necessary communication with the User on issues related to the use of Yandex services (for example, in cases of notification about any suspicious activity using the User's account, about important changes in Yandex services that may affect the rights and interests of the User, etc.);
  • personalization of Yandex services, providing the most complete recommendations and functional settings of Yandex services;
  • conducting depersonalized analytical, statistical, and marketing research;
  • verification of the User's reliability;
  • application of age restrictions provided for in Yandex services;
  • compliance with legal requirements;
  • application of additional settings specified by the User in Yandex services.

The User may at any time review and delete account data in the personal account, provided that the account retains the information necessary for authorization and account recovery; otherwise, the User may delete their account in accordance with clause 5.4 of the Terms.

The User's personal information defined by the Privacy Policy and contained in Yandex ID shall be kept and processed by Yandex in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy.

3.3. The User may upload an account Image, as well as set up a name that can accompany the materials posted by the User as part of the use of Yandex Services, including comments, reviews, etc. (User Name).

If the User has not set up the User Name, it shall be displayed in the format: first and last name specified by the User in the registration form or in the respective fields of the Yandex ID personal account.

The account Image and User Name shall comply with the requirements of Section 4 of the Yandex Services User Agreement. In case of non-compliance of the User Name and/or Image with these requirements, Yandex may delete the User Name and/or Image or apply other measures stipulated by Clause 5.3. hereof.

3.3.1. The account Image and User Name may accompany the materials posted by the User while using Yandex services and will be available to the general public.

Yandex shall be entitled to display the account Image and User Name in Yandex services, corporate blogs and Yandex accounts on third-party resources.

The account Image, User Name and other information uploaded and posted by the User, which is accessible within Yandex services, may be displayed to the general public solely for the purpose of providing the respective Yandex service and personalizing the User experience. This information (including personal data) is not intended for collection or further distribution by third parties, except in cases where such a purpose is explicitly specified in the terms of the respective service.

3.4. Users from certain regions are offered the option to store documents specified in Yandex services in their Yandex ID personal account. The procedure for managing Yandex ID data is governed by the terms of use of the Document Storage in Yandex ID feature, available at: https://yandex.ru/legal/id_storage (in Russian).

3.5. Users from certain regions may be provided with the ability to manage data of linked cards using the Yandex ID personal account. The addition, use and management of linked card data are governed by the terms published at: https://yandex.ru/legal/bank_card (in Russian), https://yandex.com.tr/legal/bank_card (in Turkish).

3.6. A User who has provided and verified their mobile phone number may have access to the functionality to request an archive of their personal information stored and processed by Yandex, for the purpose of viewing and saving such information on the User’s device, as well as the functionality to submit a request for deletion of their personal information.

The specified functionality is available in the Data Management section in the personal account of the Yandex ID service.

3.7. Yandex reserves the right at any time to require the User to confirm the data specified in the Yandex ID (including the Linked Card data).

For the purpose of data verification, Yandex may request supporting documents (including identity documents). Failure to provide such documents, at Yandex’s discretion, may be considered as providing false information and may entail the consequences specified in Clause 3.1 of the Terms.

If the User's data specified in the documents provided by it does not correspond to the data specified in Yandex ID, as well as in the case when the data specified in Yandex ID does not allow identifying the User, Yandex may deny the User access to Yandex ID and use of Yandex services.

4. Additional Features of Yandex ID. Types of Accounts

4.1. Unified Account

In relation to Users from certain regions, Yandex may, at its sole discretion, combine the User's accounts (profiles) containing the same primary phone number into a unified account for simplified switching between different accounts (profiles) (hereinafter referred to as the "Unified Account").

Yandex may add to the User's Unified Account the information about the User's first and last name, date of birth and gender obtained from any User profile included in the Unified Account, while the User retains the ability to edit this data subsequently. The User agrees to keep their first and last name data in the Unified Account up to date.

4.1.1. When authorizing in the Unified Account, the User shall have access to the functionality of simplified (not requiring the entry of a password and/or other authorization data) switching between profiles included in the Unified Account.

If the User's profile is secured with additional account access means (for example, two-factor authentication), switching to such a profile shall be possible only after performing the appropriate additional authorization actions.

4.1.2. Yandex services in which the User is authorized through a profile may, at their discretion, receive data about the User for the purposes specified in Clause 3.2. of these Terms, directly from its profile or from the Unified Account.

4.1.3. If the User changes the primary phone number in the profile included in the Unified Account, the primary phone number will be automatically changed in all profiles of the Unified Account.

4.1.4. The User can delete the Unified Account only simultaneously with the deletion of the last profile included in the Unified Account.

4.1.5. Yandex may automatically update the information it holds about the User in the Unified Account upon receiving verified data about the User in accordance with Clause 2.9 of these Terms. The User’s ability to edit such information in the Unified Account may be limited.

4.2. Family Account

In order to use some Yandex services or some individual functions of the services, Users from certain regions may be given the opportunity to create a family account (hereinafter referred to as a Family Account).

The person who initiated the creation of the Family Account (hereinafter referred to as the Family Account Owner) may add members to the Family Account, as well as configure the parameters of the Family Account in the Yandex ID personal account. If the User has previously created a Family Account in separate Yandex services, its management may be transferred to the Yandex ID personal account.

Yandex may set limits on the number of Users included in the Family Account, as well as on the number of requests sent to include Users in the Family Account.

The specifics of using a Family Account may be regulated by separate terms of use of specific Yandex services.

4.3. Child Account

4.3.1. Creating a Child Account

Users (hereinafter in this Clause referred to as the Parent) from certain regions shall be given the opportunity to create a Yandex Services User account with limited rights for persons under the age of 14 (hereinafter referred to as the Child Account) using the Yandex ID functionality (hereinafter referred to as the Parent's Account).

To confirm the possibility of managing a Child Account, the Parent shall verify the Parent Account by mobile phone number. Child Account activation without adding the mobile phone number of the User of the Parent account shall be impossible.

When creating a Child Account, the Parent will create a new account with information about the Child Account User (first name, last name, age, etc.), and also set the login and password of the Child Account. At their discretion, the Parent may add an Image of the Child Account User.

A Child Account allows a Parent to choose an age limit for a Child Account User to access content in Yandex services. The category shall be selected by the Parent at their discretion, Yandex shall not check the selected category for the real age of the Child Account User.

The display of the Child Account User’s profile shall be accompanied by a special indicator in the Yandex ID interface, showing the account status.

4.3.2. By creating a Child Account, the Parent

accepts the terms of the Yandex Services User Agreement, the Privacy Policy and these Terms with respect to the use of the Child Account;

acknowledges and agrees that as part of the use of the Child Account, the Child Account User may be able to use Yandex services provided in full or limited functionality (depending on the specifics and settings of the Yandex service for the Child Account). At the same time, the person accepting the terms of use of the respective Yandex service shall be a Parent or a Child Account User, depending on the achievement of legal capacity age by the Child Account User in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws;

acts as the person responsible for the User's use of the Yandex ID Child Account, Yandex services and individual functions thereof;

acknowledges and agrees personal data of the Child Account User may be collected and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy during the provision of Yandex services to the Child Account User;

acknowledges and agrees that information about the Child Account’s inclusion in a Family Account, as well as certain data specified in the Child Account, may be used for the purpose of personalizing Yandex service features offered to the Parent and/or Administrator;

acknowledges and agrees that the content filtering measures applied to a Child Account are automated and do not eliminate the possibility of malfunctions, errors or the display of pages containing information not intended for individuals below the age limit set by the Parent. Use of a Child Account does not guarantee complete safety and does not replace parental control when minors use the Internet;

acknowledges and agrees that Yandex does not verify the actual age of the Child Account User, nor the Parent’s authority as the legal representative of the Child Account User;

acknowledges and agrees that Yandex takes additional content filtering measures within Yandex services, but cannot apply any restrictions to third-party websites when the Child Account User accesses them directly.

4.3.3. Managing a Child Account

After a Child Account is created, the User of that account may access Yandex services using the login and password set by the Parent.

The Parent shall control the management of the Child Account, including the ability to set or change the Child Account’s credentials, add, modify or delete Child Account data, establish age restrictions for content available on the Child Account, provide the Child Account User with access to a linked card set up as a family payment method, and so on.

The Parent may grant access to the management of the Child Account to another User who is in the Family Account and has reached the age of 14 (hereinafter referred to as the Administrator). The Administrator shall have the capabilities specified in this Clause. Deletion of a Child Account or performing other functions that require verification using the Parent’s verified phone number shall only be possible upon confirmation via the Parent’s mobile phone number.

A Parent or Administrator may invite an already added Family Account User to use a Child Account. By sending a link to convert the User's account into a Child Account, the Parent agrees to the terms of Clause 4.3. hereof in full.

4.3.4. Using a Child Account

The use of Yandex services, if the same have the relevant functionality, shall be available in the Child Account, subject to the specified age limits. By default, a Child Account assumes a Family search, that is, an automatic filtering mode and exclusion of pages not intended for minors from search results. The entrance to pages with potentially unintended content for such persons will be blocked with the display of the respective notification.

4.3.5. When the Child Account User reaches the age of 14, the Parent may cancel the settings of the Child Account, as a result of which the Child Account User will be given the opportunity to use this account as an independent Yandex ID without restrictions after confirming this action on their part.

4.4. In certain regions, the User may have access to the functionality of searching for information about unpaid fines for an administrative offense related to traffic, parking and public amenities (hereinafter referred to as the Fine), paying the Fines found and enabling notifications on new Fines in relation to the vehicle specified by the User.

To search and monitor information about Fines in the special Fines section on the User's profile page in Yandex ID, the User shall provide vehicle data (vehicle registration certificate number) and the number of the User's driver's license. Yandex shall process the received data under the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy for the purposes of providing information and storing the received data in the personal account of the Yandex ID service.

When enabling notifications about new Fines, Yandex informs the User by sending push messages through the Yandex mobile application or by other means using the contact information provided by the User in their Yandex services account. Yandex does not guarantee the delivery of notifications regarding Fines, nor the timeliness of sending or the User receiving such notifications.

4.5. The User from certain regions may have access to the functionality of viewing information about payments using their account in certain Yandex services. For some payments, the User may also have access to information about the receipt for the respective transaction.

This functionality is available in the “Payments” section on the User’s Yandex ID profile page.

Yandex does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the displayed information.

4.6. Public Profile

4.6.1. Public Profile Creation

Users from certain regions shall be given the opportunity to create a profile in their Yandex ID account with information about themselves and their professional activities (hereinafter referred to as the "Public Profile"), which is available for display in the Yandex search engine and other Yandex services (if functionally possible), as an interactive search element or information block in the service.

To create a Public Profile, the user shall fill out a special form in its Yandex ID personal account in accordance with the provisions of Clause 4.6.2 hereof. A Public Profile can be published after it has passed verification.

4.6.2. Public Profile Data.

To create a Public Profile, the user shall fill out a special form and provide the necessary information about themselves, including (but not limited to the following):

  • full name in accordance with the identity document;
  • profile photo;
  • information on education;
  • information on work experience;
  • other data specified in the form to be filled out.

When posting a Public Profile, the User shall provide accurate, reliable and complete information about themselves and, if it changes, promptly make adjustments to the Public Profile to keep it up to date. Yandex may carry out the verification procedure for the information provided.

All information shall be stored and processed by Yandex in the Yandex ID account under the terms of the Privacy Policy.

4.6.3. Public Profile Verification

Yandex may verify the accuracy and relevance of the information specified by the User in the Public Profile at any time, including before the posting of the Public Profile and if any doubts arise in the period after the posting of the Public Profile. If unresolvable doubts arise about the accuracy of the information specified by the User in the Public Profile or the ownership of the Public Profile, Yandex may refuse to post the User's Public Profile, as well as remove the Public Profile from public display if it was previously posted.

For the purpose of verification, Yandex may use

data provided by the User when filling out the form in the Yandex ID section or received upon a special request;

data from open sources, including the Federal Register of Information on Educational Documents and (or) Qualifications, documents on training of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science;

data from other Yandex services previously provided by the User (with the consent of the User);

In order to verify the accuracy of the information provided by the User in the Public Profile, Yandex may request additional information, including identity documents of the User and other information to verify the Public Profile.

Public Profile data can also be verified via a push notification or a message containing a verification code sent to the User’s phone number provided in Yandex ID or entered during the creation of the Public Profile.

4.6.4. Restrictions and Liability

The User shall not post in the Public Profile any information that is suspected to violate or actually violates Russian laws and other applicable statutes, the rights and legitimate interests of third parties, restrictions established by the Yandex Services User Agreement, violate the Moderation Rules, available at: https://yandex.ru/support/id/data/public-profile-in-search-rules.html (in Russian). In case of their violation, the Public Profile may be rejected for posting without explanation. A previously posted Public Profile may be removed from posting if violations are discovered during the next data check by the moderators. Yandex may introduce restrictions regarding the categories of information posted and/or types of professional activity indicated in the Public Profile. Yandex does not guarantee the posting of the Public Profile. In case of doubts regarding the information posted, Yandex may refuse to post the Public Profile or remove the previously posted Public Profile from posting without explanation.

The User shall independently post information in the Public Profile and shall be liable to third parties in connection with the creation and posting of the Public Profile and the information indicated therein.

Users shall not use information from the Public Profiles of other persons without the proper permission of the User to whom this information belongs.

If improperly posted information and/or data is found in a Public Profile, the User may submit a complaint via the feedback form: https://yandex.ru/support/abuse/troubleshooting/search/search-appearance.html (in Russian).

4.6.5. Publication of the Public Profile

When creating a Public Profile, the User may independently select blocks of information available for public display in the Public Profile. The User acknowledges and agrees that any information that the User has made visible for public display, including contact information, the User's image, information about career, education and other data, will be available in search results to the general public throughout the world.

Yandex does not guarantee that such information will be used by third parties solely for the purposes of the Public Profile publication and shall not be responsible for third-party actions involving the copying or processing of information from the Public Profile.

The User is prohibited from using the contact details of the Public Profile owner for the purposes of direct advertising communications or sending unsolicited electronic messages, as well as for other illegal actions or actions committed without the knowledge and/or consent of the Public Profile owner in cases where such use is not related to the implementation of communications with Users who have publicly expressed their consent to receive offers of a professional nature.

4.7. In the Yandex ID personal account, Users from certain regions may have access to the functionality of viewing preliminary information on the maximum amount of expenses that Yandex Pay LLC may incur when the User uses the Yandex Split Service, in accordance with the Terms of displaying the limit available to the User in the Yandex ID service (https://yandex.ru/legal/id_split_limit).

If the User is a user of the Yandex Split service and has a valid agency agreement concluded with Yandex Pay LLC, then, in the Yandex ID personal account, the User may also have access to the functionality of viewing information about such agency agreement, including the schedule and amount of upcoming payments thereunder.

Such information is provided solely to inform the User about the capabilities and functionality of the Yandex Split service.

4.8. In the Yandex ID personal account, Users in certain regions may have access to the functionality of the Organizations in ID in accordance with the Terms of Use of the Organizations in ID functionality - https://yandex.ru/legal/org_id_termsofuse (in Russian).

When the User uses its account and the Organizations in ID function to log in to Yandex services that support the Organizations in ID function, the User agrees that information about the Organization account shall be automatically displayed in the Yandex ID personal account.

4.9. The User is offered the opportunity to specify information about its pet in its Yandex ID personal account.

The profile data may be used to personalize functions and offers in Yandex services, and, at the User's request, may be transferred to Yandex partners and other third parties for the purpose of providing services to the User related to its pet.

4.10. In certain regions, Users may be given the opportunity to post information about their car in the Garage/My Car section of their Yandex ID personal account. If the User uses the Garage section on the Auto.ru website, information about the car may be transferred from this section to its Yandex ID personal account.

Information about the car from the Garage/My Car section can be used by the User to automatically fill in information in Yandex services, if the respective functionality is available, as well as for the purpose of personalizing functions and offers in Yandex services.

4.11. Authorization in Third-Party Services Using Yandex ID

4.11.1 Authorization Procedure

The User may have the option to authorize using their Yandex ID (hereinafter — “Authorization”) in third-party Programs (as defined in the Terms of Use of the ‘Authorization via Yandex ID API’ Service, available at: https://yandex.ru/legal/authid_api (in Russian), hereinafter referred to as "API Terms"), provided that such third parties have accepted these API Terms (hereinafter — “Third Parties”).

Before the User’s first Authorization in a Program, the User shall be informed about the set of User data that will be transmitted by Yandex to the Third Party.

After the User's first Authorization in the Program under the provisions of this Clause, the User may, in some cases, perform subsequent Authorizations in that Program automatically, without needing to enter their Yandex ID account credentials.

If the User updates their data in Yandex ID, the updated set of data may be automatically transmitted to the Third Party whose Program the User has authorized in accordance with Clause 4.11.1 of these Terms.

The processing of User data transmitted to Third Parties shall be carried out by those Third Parties in accordance with their personal data processing policies. For any questions regarding the processing of data transmitted to Third Parties, the User should contact such Third Parties directly. Yandex shall not be responsible for the processing of User data by Third Parties and shall not verify or guarantee their compliance with personal data legislation.

Yandex shall not identify Third Parties and shall not have information about their exact name (last name, first name, patronymic), location address or contact details. However, some Third Parties may complete a verification procedure by linking their profile to an account in ESIA (the Russian state information system). For Third Parties who have not completed the verification procedure, Yandex may display a respective warning.

4.11.2 Data Access Withdrawal

The User may withdraw a Third Party's access to its data at any time in the Data Access section of the Yandex ID account, as a result of which:

The Third Party shall lose the ability to access the User's current data in the Yandex ID account, while the previously transferred data may continue to be processed by the Third Party in accordance with its data processing policies;

The User shall lose the ability to automatically Authorize in the Third Party Program.

4.11.3 Consent to Advertising Mailings from Third Parties

Before the first Authorization in the Program, the User shall have access to the functionality of giving consent to the Third Party (as well as its partners and/or affiliates) to receive advertising messages related to the Program (mailings). Consent shall be given to receive advertising mailings using the User's contact information specified in the Yandex ID account (the primary phone number and email address specified in the Yandex ID account). At the same time, if the User changes its contact information in Yandex ID, advertising mailings from Third Parties may be sent using the updated contact information specified in Yandex ID.

If it is necessary to withdraw consent to advertising mailings provided to a Third Party, the User shall independently contact such Third Party directly. Yandex shall not be liable for the actions of Third Parties, including those related to obtaining consent to advertising mailings and sending advertising messages. Yandex shall not check or guarantee compliance by Third Parties with advertising legislation.

4.12. In the Yandex ID account, Users in certain regions may have access to the Service Notifications feature, which allows them to manage their consent for receiving advertising and marketing messages from Yandex services on various topics via different communication channels (SMS messages, phone calls, email notifications, push notifications in mobile apps).

The User can track the current status of their previously given consents for advertising and marketing messages from Yandex services.

In the Service Notifications section of the Yandex ID account, the User can also provide new consent or revoke previously given consent for receiving advertising and marketing messages from Yandex services listed in this section.

4.12. In the Yandex ID account, Users in certain regions may have access to the Service Notifications feature, which allows them to manage their consent for receiving advertising and marketing messages from Yandex services on various topics via different communication channels (SMS messages, phone calls, email notifications, push notifications in mobile apps).

The User can track the current status of their previously given consents for advertising and marketing messages from Yandex services.

5. Restrictions. Yandex ID Deletion

5.1. When using Yandex ID, the User shall not:

  • use Yandex ID in violation of the requirements stipulated by the Yandex Services User Agreement;
  • transfer Yandex ID access credentials to a third party (except as provided in these Terms), as well as assign, sell, exchange or conduct any other transactions involving Yandex ID and/or access thereto;
  • mislead users regarding the ownership of a Yandex ID by any person or organization;
  • use Yandex ID for the purpose of committing illegal actions.

5.2. Certain categories of User accounts may restrict or prohibit the use of certain Yandex services or individual functions thereof if it is provided for during registration or in the terms of use of a particular service.

5.3. Restricting Access to Yandex ID.

Yandex may block or delete the User's Yandex ID, as well as prohibit access using Yandex ID to certain Yandex services (or to certain functions of the service, if technologically possible), and delete any content posted using Yandex ID without explanation, inter alia, in the following cases:

  • detection of suspicious User activity in the Yandex service;
  • failure to pass the internal moderation procedure;
  • if the User's actions or the information posted violate these Terms, the Agreement or the terms of other documents specified in Clause 1.2. hereof, the terms of use of the relevant service, applicable law;
  • violation by the User of the rights and legitimate interests of Yandex, other Users of Yandex services, third parties, or the creation of threats of such violation.

Failure by the User to use Yandex ID, including for accessing Yandex services, for two and a half years (Clause 5.5 of the Terms).

5.4. Termination of the User's Yandex ID.

The User may delete its account at any time by using a special function in the Yandex ID personal account. To delete Yandex ID, it shall be required to specify and confirm the User's phone number for security purposes.

The account shall be deleted in the following manner:

5.4.1. the account shall be automatically blocked for a period of one month, during which the User's access to its account becomes impossible, while the content posted using such account may be deleted;

5.4.2. if the User's account is restored by the User within the above period, access to the User's account will be restored, however, the content posted through it may not be subject to restoration;

5.4.3. if the User’s account is not restored within the period specified above, all content posted using it will be automatically deleted, and the login will become available for use by other users, except in the case of account deletion due to inactivity in accordance with Clause 5.5 of the Terms. Thereafter, it will be impossible to restore the account, any information related thereto, as well as access to Yandex services using this account.

5.4.4. The procedure for deleting a Yandex ID created using a simplified registration procedure (Clause 2.3.2 hereof) may differ from the above, in particular, it may not provide for a temporary possibility of recovery.

5.4.5. The procedure outlined in Clauses 5.4.1–5.4.4. of these Terms also applies to locking access to certain services using any account.

5.4.6. Yandex may restrict the deletion of the User’s account if certain conditions prevent it, including but not limited to the following:

  • If the User is the Owner of a Family Account, their account can only be deleted if there are no Users with a Child Account within the Family Account.
  • If the User is an Organization Owner in ID (as defined in the Terms of Use for the Organizations in ID feature), their account can only be deleted after the Organization’s account is deleted or the Organization Owner role is transferred to another person.
  • If the User is a Business Group Owner (as defined in the Terms of Use for the Organizations in ID feature), their account can only be deleted after the Business Group is deleted or the Business Group Owner role is transferred to another person.
  • If the User has outstanding debts in Yandex services, their account can only be deleted after the debts are fully repaid.

Information regarding the inability to delete an account will be displayed to the User in the Service interface.

5.5. Deleting a Yandex ID Account in Case of Failure to Use.

If the User has not logged in to its Yandex ID for two and a half years and has not accessed Yandex services using it, Yandex may delete the User's Yandex ID.

The User agrees that deleting the User's Yandex ID account may entail deleting the content posted using such Yandex ID account.

If a User's Yandex ID account deleted due to failure to use it has never been used for authorization in the account or any other Yandex services after its registration, then the login of such a deleted account may become available for use by other users. Deletion of the last account included in the Unified Account, in accordance with this Clause 5.5. hereof, shall entail the deletion of the Unified Account.
