Smart TV Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end collaboration on products, from concept through to production, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives.
Tasks that await you
Project management
You will refine Smart TV product specifications to meet market demands and company objectives. Additionally, you will initiate and maintain the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and schedule, ensuring all critical milestones are met. You will assign tasks to team members across ODMs, covering areas such as industrial design, mechanical design, hardware, software, packaging, certification, pilot run, ramp-up, and mass production. You will also be responsible for the product's visual and functional effect, ensuring it aligns with the company's branding and quality standards. Finally, you will monitor project activities, ensuring timely completion while managing potential risks.

Collaboration on products
You will lead the product transfer from concept to production, collaborating with Yandex R&D and ODM R&D/NPI teams to establish efficient workflows. Additionally, you will evaluate technical and business risks and be responsible for risk mitigation strategies. Finally, you will cooperate on, negotiate, and execute a comprehensive quality strategy for Smart TV components and assemblies.
Cross-functional support and process improvement
You will work closely with product development, operation, and other relevant teams at Yandex to facilitate evaluations, production, and more. Additionally, you will drive supplier capabilities by fostering quality improvement initiatives. You will also lead on-site management of manufacturing partners, overseeing the builds, risk mitigation, ramp-up phases, and ensuring on-time delivery. Finally, you will lead and support process setup and improvement initiatives both internally and at ODM facilities, ensuring efficient control across systems and projects.
We expect that you
- Have a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in engineering (mechanical, software, hardware)
- Have 10+ years of experience in consumer electronics products, components, and manufacturing processes, including 5+ years in mobile, PC, TV, or IT companies
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, Product Manager, or Supply Chain Manager in the consumer electronics industry
- Pay strong attention to detail and are willing to get hands-on when needed
- Have proven leadership skills and can influence and motivate team members
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures
- Are based in Shenzhen
- Speak fluent Mandarin
