Yandex is looking for an International Projects Manager to support the rapid global expansion of our AdTech business. In this role, you’ll be part of a growing international team responsible for enhancing operational stability and efficiency across multiple markets. Coordinating international market launches
You will lead and coordinate the launch of new business operations across various global locations, covering legal, tax, and operational aspects. You will assist internal teams in selecting optimal legal and tax frameworks tailored to specific countries, applying global best practices. In addition, you will design and implement scalable processes for new markets—covering contracts, billing, accounting, taxation, payments, recruitment, and more. You will also monitor key regulatory developments, conduct risk assessments, and recommend timely mitigation strategies to ensure group-wide compliance. Your duties will also include working on automating and optimizing processes to support the sales team in navigating complex cross-border issues. Finally, you will manage the full expansion lifecycle, from initial feasibility assessments to the launch and stabilization of local operations.

Applying critical thinking and collaboration across functions
You will collaborate within cross-functional V-teams to develop timely and effective solutions and apply a "helicopter view" to approach challenges holistically, navigating unfamiliar situations with clarity and insight.
We expect that you
- Have a strong understanding of legal, tax, and payment systems in different jurisdictions
- Are familiar with efficient legal entity frameworks and the full lifecycle of international business operations
- Bring hands-on experience in resolving complex cross-border business issues
- Have built business processes in fast-growing, dynamic environments
- Are capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
- Are fluent in English, with the ability to discuss professional topics clearly
