Cloud saves and data management

Progress saving helps create a comfortable and diverse gaming experience. You can save game state data (completed levels, experience, in-app purchases, etc.) on Yandex servers or transfer it to your own server. You can also personalize the game using data from the user's profile, such as their name.

In some cases, progress saving is required:

• Players should be able to continue the game after refreshing the page without losing their achievements or records (see section 1.9).
• If the game includes:
  • Story progression
  • Gradual level completion
  • Record-setting gameplay
• If the game is endless (see section 2.6).

If you use cloud saves, specify this in the draft (see section 1.11).
