Working with ads
You can earn revenue through displaying ad units in your games:
-
Study the features and recommendations for placing ads.
-
Set up ad calls using the SDK.
Features and Recommendations for Placing Ads
-
Place ads in a way that clearly distinguishes them from the game mechanics.
-
Recommended locations for in-game ads: before the game starts, when transitioning to a new level, after losing.
-
The frequency of rewarded video ad calls is not restricted.
-
The frequency of interstitial ads is managed by the Yandex Games platform.
Warning
Yandex's Ad Network treats accidental user clicks on ads as fraudulent activity, which reduces ad revenue.
To avoid this, never call ads during gameplay, where users might accidentally tap on ads.
Rewarded Video Ads
Rewarded video ads are video ad units used for monetization. Players receive in-game rewards or currency for watching these ads.
To display a rewarded video ad, use the Show rewarded ad action.
Note
The ID is only used to distinguish ad calls and has no relation to Yandex's Ad Network. You can leave it blank.
The plugin also lets you mute game audio during ad playback, meeting platform requirements.
Interstitial Ads
These full-screen ads cover the app background and appear between user actions (e. g., level transitions).
Use the Show fullscreen ad action to display them. Most often, no additional logic is needed beyond calling the action.

-
Go to the Advertising tab in the developer console.
