The game meets at least one of the criteria for having game mechanics.

To keep users engaged and create an exciting gameplay experience, the game must have mechanics that motivate players to progress.

The requirement is considered fulfilled if the game meets at least one criterion.

The game features:

  • competitive mechanics;
  • progress dependent on player actions (score points, travel through the world, unlock new locations, advance through the storyline);
  • a goal ("save the princess", defeat the opponent, complete all levels to unlock the ending);
  • completion (winning or losing is possible).

Player choices have no impact and lead to no result. Game mechanics are absent.

Displaying reference information is not a game mechanic.
