The Discounts and promotions display features a selection of in-game events: sales, seasonal updates, and tournaments.

To attract more players, increase in-app purchases, and grow your gaming community, add your events to the selection. Create in-game events on the days of Yandex Games themed promotions or independently. Your event will appear in the Discounts and promotions section, and the game's banner in the general catalog will have a Promo tag.

Any promotion lasts no more than 10 days, so to activate them during the holidays and attract more users to the game, calculate and plan the launch in advance. Prizes for promotion participants can only be in-game. For example:

• Discount on bonus currency and other in-game items.
• Unique character skins.
• Limited edition in-game badges.

Launching a promotion

1. Review the requirements and design guidelines.
2. Add the promotion to the game.
3. Activate it in the Yandex Games Console.

Sales and discounts

Create attractive conditions for players: in-game discounts on chips, character skins, boosters, or bonuses.

Major seasonal events

Add themed game design: new locations, characters, inventory, and decorations. For example:

• New Year decorations for puzzles.
• Snowy locations for RPGs.
• Festive character skins.
• Themed quests and tasks.

Competitions with leaderboards

Organize competitions among players, publish the results on leaderboards, and reward the winners with in-game chips, bonuses, or currency.

In-game event

Tie the promotion to an event, such as the game's anniversary. Reward players with:

• doubled points for certain actions;
• additional in-game currency;
• bonuses for completing special conditions.

1. Access the Games Console with your developer account.

2. In the upper-left corner of the Console, click Applications.
3. Find the previously uploaded game in the list and click its name.
4. Go to the Promos tab and click Create a promo.

6. Click Submit for moderation. The promotion will be uploaded to the Yandex server. Wait for moderation review.
