Pay for Flights with Yandex.Money

Internet, September 12, 2011. Yandex.Money expands its air carrier partner network by adding one of Russia’s ten largest operators Rossiya Airlines. Users can now buy tickets at the airline’s website using e-payment system Yandex.Money.

“According to ТNS*, booking flights and train tickets is the fourth most popular e-payment category. Understandably, airline companies are a priority for us,” says Natalia Khaitina, Deputy CEO of Yandex.Money. “We have been working with S7 and SkyExpress for a few years already, and now we are glad to have Rossiya among our partners. We are currently in talks with a number of other Russian airlines to sign partnership deals and give our users an opportunity to book flights to any destination in the world.”

Rossiya Airlines provides domestic and international flights to over 150 destinations. Yandex.Money users can instantly pay for their tickets without leaving their chair. Currently, Yandex.Money is the only e-payment operator offering its customers an opportunity to pay for Rossiya Airline’s flights.

In addition to working with air carriers, Yandex.Money also partners with online booking websites including agent.ru, ozon.travel and razlet.ru. Every month thousands of users pay for their flights using Yandex.Money.
