Yandex.Money Accepts Banking Cards of All Russian Banks

Internet, June 9, 2010. Starting from today, Yandex.Money users can easily top-up their e-wallets using a banking card of any Russian bank. Now all operations within Yandex.Money payment system can be done online, without having to leave your chair.

To top up their e-wallet users should only once link their Yandex.Money account to their banking card. This can be done in any of 200 offices of Alfa-Bank in more than 60 cities and towns of Russia. After that, users will be able to instantly transfer funds from their banking card to their Yandex.Money account at any time. Any Visa or MasterCard bank card allowing to make payments through the Internet can be linked to Yandex.Money account. The commission for transferring money to e-accounts is 3.25%.

“Using Yandex.Money users could make purchases right from their desktop”, says Jane Zavalishina, CEO of Yandex.Money. “But to top up their accounts, they had to physically go to an ATM or a kiosk where they could buy a prepayment e-card. And only clients of several banks – partners of Yandex.Money, could top up their e-accounts online. Now our Yandex.Money e-payment system has become truly online for millions of banking card holders.”
