Mobile Client for Yandex.Mail

Internet, September 16, 2009. Yandex releases a new mobile client for its Yandex.Mail service. Now, users can have access to all the key features of their online Yandex.Mail account even when they are offline.

Old users of Yandex.Mail will instantly feel comfortable with the new mobile client. It has a contact list and all folders imported from the user’s online account and offers a variety of design themes, colors and font options.

The mobile client has the same email features as the online version of Yandex.Mail. The mobile version can read html-formatted messages and display them exactly as viewed on a computer screen. It allows to sort emails, view graphics, open and download attachments.

“This product is designed to help our users to have time for everything,” says Dmitry Matveev, Manager of the service. “With the mobile client, they can send messages to their business contacts via email or chat with their friends on the Ya.Online messenger also available in the mobile Yandex.Mail version. And they do not need to be anywhere near a computer doing that.”

The Yandex.Mail mobile application is compatible with devices supporting Java, Symbian or Windows Mobile and available for download here.
