Yandex Finds Video News

Internet, August 7, 2008. Yandex now searches videos on websites of major media. The search service has partnered with tv broadcasters: Channel 1, Vesti, NTV, Kultura, Soyuz, О2ТV, Alternative Music Channel; with newspapers: Vedomosti, Izvestia, Life, Argumenti I Fakti, Kommersant, Komsomolskaya Pravda; with online media resources: newsru.com, newstube.ru, CNews.ru; and also with the information agency RIA Novosti. Total number of videos currently indexed by Yandex.Video is around three million.
