Ukrainian Advertisers Get a Direct Access to Yandex.Direct

Internet, May 24, 2007. Yandex.Direct, context ad placement system, started accepting instant payments from Ukrainian webusers. From date, any advertiser, who has installed a ”wallet”-programme from Internet.Money payment system, can pay with hryvni for advertising campaign at Yandex, and at the websites participating in the Yandex Advertising Network.

”Until now, the Ukrainian advertisers could pay for Yandex services with hryvni only through cashless transfers,” says Sergey Petrenko, the head of Yandex.Ukraine. ”Payment through Internet.Money, so we hope, will make it simpler for users to place ads on Yandex”.

The new option of payment for advertising campaigns already appeared in the Yandex.Direct interface. This became possible due to the partnership of Internet.Money and Yandex.Money companies.
