View email attachments
The Email attachments folder on Yandex Disk contains files that were too large for an email (over 25 MB). This can be multiple small attachments or a single large file. These files are automatically uploaded to Yandex Disk and sent as links. This happens because many services don't accept emails with large attachments.
The maximum size of one attachment is 1 GB. You can attach larger files to emails only with an active Yandex 360 plan.
Note
Files sent as links to Yandex Disk are available only to the sender and the recipient. Other people can access your files only if the sender or recipient gives them links to files or posts them on public resources.
All email attachments take up space on your Yandex Disk, sync with the Yandex Disk folder, and are available in mobile apps, just like any other files. If there's not enough space on Yandex Disk, you won't be able to attach large files.
If you move a file from Email attachments to another folder, the recipient of the email can still access it. But if you turn off the public link to this file or delete it from Yandex Disk, the recipient won't be able to view the file.
A file is missing from Email attachments
If you can't find an attachment in the Email attachments folder, most likely, this is because the email with this attachment was sent before 2020. Such files are stored in the Archive. You can only access them through the Yandex Disk web interface.
Note
If you don't see the Archive folder in the left list, it means this section of your Yandex Disk is empty.
