Managers

Managers are employees who can manage a specific group of settings in Yandex 360 for Business.

An administrator can assign the following managers:

  • A message filters manager can set message filters for emails. These filters control the automatic processing of incoming mail.

  • An email archive manager has access to the email archive, which contains emails from the organization's employees.

  • An audit log manager can view events in audit logs of Yandex 360 for Business services.

  • A payment and service plan manager can manage the organization's plan, pay for Yandex 360 for Business services, and change the organization's details. Go to the Help section about service plans and payments.

  • A user manager can perform various actions with employee accounts: add, edit, block, delete, and group them into departments and groups. User managers can't reset employee passwords or delete the organization owner's account.

One employee can have multiple managerial roles, and one role can be assigned to multiple employees.

Assign a manager

Assign to one role

  1. Log in to the organization's admin account.

  2. Go to the Roles and access page..

  3. Hover over the role you want to assign employees to and click Assign to the right of its description. You can also select a role and click Assign on the page that opens.

  4. Start typing the name or surname in the search bar and select an employee from the drop-down list. You can select multiple employees whom you want to assign to the role.

  5. Click Assign. The selected employees will be displayed in the list on the role page and will gain access to the corresponding settings.

Assign to one or several roles at once

  1. Log in to the organization's admin account.

  2. Go to the Roles and access page..

  3. Click Assign at the top of the page.

  4. Fill in the fields in the role assignment window:

    • Select the roles from the list.

    • Select employees — start typing the name or surname in the search field and select the right person from the drop-down list.

  5. Click Assign. The selected employees will be displayed in the list on the role page and will gain access to the corresponding settings.

View the roles of an employee

  1. Log in to the organization's admin account.

  2. Go to the Employees page.

  3. Select an employee to view their information. All assigned roles will be listed in the Role section.

Revoke a role

Revoke a role from one employee

  1. Log in to the organization's admin account.

  2. Go to the Roles and access page..

  3. Select the role you want to revoke.

  4. In the list of employees on the role page, select the person to revoke the role from. You can use the search bar in the top-right corner: start typing the name or surname of the employee that you need, and this will filter out other people.

  5. Hover over the employee, click the icon on the right side of the line, and select Revoke role.

  6. Confirm the action.

Revoke a role from multiple employees at once

  1. Log in to the organization's admin account.

  2. Go to the Roles and access page..

  3. Select the role you want to revoke.

  4. In the employee list on the role page, select those to revoke the role from.

  5. Click Revoke role at the top of the page.

  6. Check the list of employees and confirm the action.
