Advertiser

An advertiser is the owner of ad campaigns. They have access to campaign statistics. The administrator can also grant the advertiser access to manage banners in their campaign.

Be sure to specify the advertiser when creating a campaign. If neither advertiser representatives nor ad agency representatives require access to the statistics, we recommend specifying RSYaAdvertiser as the advertiser in campaign settings. The system creates this advertiser automatically.

Creating an account

  1. In the main menu, open the tab Users → Participants → Advertisers and click + Create new.

  2. The account creation page opens. Fill out the required fields.

    • Account

Come up with a login. You can only use Latin letters, digits, dashes, underscores, and periods. The login must contain between 1 and 32 characters.

The login must be unique within the Adfox system. If you enter a login that's already taken, a warning appears.

    • E-mail

Specify an email address for registration. This address will receive an invitation to the Adfox interface. You register via Yandex ID.

  3. If necessary, fill out the Contact information section. The advertiser can fill out this section by themselves once they get access to the interface.

  4. Click Add.

The advertiser's been created. An email with a registration link is sent to the specified email address.

Setting up rights

By default, the advertiser has access to the following tabs in the Adfox interface:

  • Campaigns: A list of ad campaigns where the user is assigned as the main or additional advertiser.
  • Settings: The advertiser's contact information and a link for password change.
  • Reports: Statistics for all the advertiser's campaigns.

To change access settings, go to the Users → Participants → Advertisers tab and click  Parameters next to the advertiser's account. A tab with these options will open:

You can select the types of reports to be available to the advertiser. To do this:

  2. A tab with a list of reports opens. Select all the reports that the advertiser should have access to. Click Save.

You can allow an advertiser to add, edit, or delete banners in their campaign. To do this:

  1. On the Users → Participants → Advertisers page, click  Campaigns next to the advertiser's account.

  2. A tab with a list of the advertiser's campaigns opens. Click Parameters next to the name of the required campaign.

  3. A tab with the campaign settings opens. Enable the option Advertiser can edit banners and click Change.

Deleting an account

To delete an advertiser, open the tab Users → Participants → Advertisers and click  Delete next to the advertiser's account.

If you remove an advertiser, their campaigns continue being served. If you removed the main advertiser, you'll see a warning in the campaign parameters to select the main advertiser. If the advertiser is additional, their account is automatically removed from the list of additional advertisers.
