Besh Qozon restaurant in Tashkent is a popular place where there are always a lot of people, and one of those places that is recommended to tourists. Special attention should be paid to pilaf, which is cooked here in a huge cauldron. It is so fragrant and rich that it literally melts in your mouth, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. Meat, rice, carrots and spices are perfectly balanced, creating a unique symphony of flavors.
Tashkent tea is always fresh and fragrant here.
Compote made from fresh fruits refreshes and quenches thirst, becoming an excellent end to lunch. It is not too sweet, but it is very rich, perfectly complementing the main dishes.
And, of course, it is impossible not to mention the tortillas, which are served hot, directly from the oven. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a light sesame seed flavor, making them the perfect addition to any dish.
An amazing colorful place! You only need to eat pilaf here. Very affordable prices. You can immerse yourself in the atmosphere and watch how pilaf is really cooked in a huge cauldron. There are several types. If you are not used to fatty foods, then immediately ask for a non-greasy one.
And just incredibly delicious tortillas, which are cooked right there
It's a beautiful place. Low prices, courteous staff. There are 3 types of pilaf available (special, wedding and tea house), as well as various additives to them. Almost always fresh tortillas. The service is not only polite, but also fast, but it is better to repeat the order a couple of times.
If it's not cold outside, then it's better to take a table there, there are often a lot of people in the room.
A very nice place!Everything is very tasty, the staff is very friendly and friendly! The interior is very clean and the tables are immediately cleaned after the guests!I have visited several times and I advise my friends to go there and look at these huge cauldrons where they cook, and of course try everything! The portions are simply huge and it is often difficult for one to eat everything!
An excellent pilaf cooking center. The name translates as 5 cauldrons. I visited after lunch, there are a lot of people, they literally take me by tourist buses, but there are a lot of free places. There is no menu as such, but you can view it through a QR code. The waiters take the order. Given that the menu is small, salads and drinks are brought almost instantly. Pilaf itself, there were 2 types in my presence, Tea House and Wedding are brought a little later. I took the Wedding complex, this is when kazy, 2 quail eggs and one dolma piece are added to the standard pilaf. In principle, everything is ordered like that, judging by the neighbors. I also took achichuk with hot pepper (it's called Garimdori here) and Tashkent tea (it's a little sweet with lemon). I didn't take the flatbread, this is too much, taking into account the portion sizes (and they are large). Well, what can I say, perfectly cooked delicious and not greasy pilaf, as it should be. The combination with achichuk and pepper is excellent, hot tea is just the theme for pilaf. I definitely recommend the place! Payment at the checkout, in cash or by card. Maintenance is included by default at 12%, very convenient. The lunch was very inexpensive, about 6 US dollars (500 rubles approximately), just like I got into a fairy tale :)
Besh Kozon is a classic place in Tashkent, both for locals and tourists. Several types of pilaf are prepared and served here, you can watch and choose pilaf right in the cooking area. Pilaf, of course, is delicious! I remember and my mouth is watering. I took a teahouse, fatter, on fried meat with bones! I came in perfectly with tea and hot fried peppers. My wife chose a wedding cake with sweet notes of raisins! It's also very tasty! There are also very fragrant air cakes here! Fast service and affordable price. You can sit outside, on the veranda and indoors. You can walk around and film the whole process of cooking pilaf! I recommend it!
It's a great place. Super delicious pilaf. Lightning fast service. Customer-oriented staff. For pilaf lovers, it is just a godsend. You can observe the processes in the kitchen. Very tasty tortillas are prepared in tandoori. I will definitely come back 👍🔥
A very cool and "delicious" place - though only for lovers of oriental cuisine, there is simply no other one here :))) But the pilaf is excellent, there are up to 4 types all the time-and you can not only eat it, but also watch the whole process of preparation, which takes place nearby, in a hall with huge cauldrons! Everything else is also delicious and very affordable. Separately, I was pleased with the fresh pomegranate juice, which is pressed right in front of you from fresh fruits. So if you are a lover of real pilaf and are ready to spit on the opinion of would-be nutritionists who consider it excessively fatty and not useful - you definitely need to visit this place at least once!!! I am exactly like that-that's why I put the top five with a clear conscience and I will definitely visit this worthy place again if I am lucky enough to visit Tashkent again!!!
The legendary pilaf center in Tashkent. Delicious, inexpensive. Of course, I've tried even tastier pilaf, but the atmosphere itself is worth it. Hundreds of people, huge cauldrons, ovens with tortillas. The sight is worth it. And next to the TV tower, where you should go after a delicious lunch and admire the views of the city.
A picturesque place. No other swim centers were visited. You can see all the stages of cooking pilaf and tortillas. It's delicious, the serving and service are simple. Come here for the atmosphere and color. The hall is probably 2/3 occupied by local residents, there were almost no empty seats at 11 o'clock. We went in a big company.
A very colorful place in Tashkent, a real must-have for those who want to try and taste the delicious Tashkent pilaf and watch the cooking of pilaf, let's say, "live" in a huge cauldron, it is very interesting and spectacular. 1 serving costs 40,000 soums, 0.7 servings is about 30,000 soums. There are a lot of people, most likely for a reason)) By the way, you can buy pilaf to take away.
By the way, an important clarification, pilaf does not end at lunch, although we were worried, the restaurant is open until evening, until 20:00!
It is located in the city center, Shahristan metro station, in close proximity to the TV tower.
A must-visit place in Tashkent. Here, both locals and tourists enjoy several types of pilaf. I liked the festive (or wedding pilaf) the most. Pilaf can not only be eaten, but also to see how it is cooked. Take some epic photos against the background of giant cauldrons or panels of Besh Qoson. The prices are very encouraging.
It is very tasty and inexpensive, we tried pilaf in several places in Tashkent - this is one of the best. The portions are large. You can go into the kitchen and see the cooking process. Indoor and outdoor spaces. The only thing is that the toilet is not very good.
Among the endless variety of restaurants, cafes, snack bars in Tashkent, there are several iconic places where there is no end of curious tourists. One of them is the Central Asian Pilaf Center, the Besh Qozon restaurant (Five cauldrons). A very authentic establishment.
Rumors that the pilaf is very tasty here are greatly exaggerated. The pilaf is ordinary, without any special frills and emotions. However, I only tried Tashkent pilaf (one of several that are prepared here), perhaps not the most delicious. Conveyor service. Orders are processed and submitted fairly quickly.
There is an atmosphere of excitement and bustle at the tables on the huge outdoor terrace under the awning.
Nevertheless, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit, but not for the sake of eating, but to see how it is prepared. Giant cauldrons are floating on an open fire, a hose is watering the floor, a good dozen chefs are tirelessly conjuring at cauldrons and cutting tables. Fire is burning, water is pouring, people are working - a combination that, as they say, can be admired indefinitely. The Show Must Go On!
Traveling around Tashkent, look here for an hour, especially since you can kill two birds with one stone, since there is a TV tower very close by, from the height of which you will see the picturesque, colorful, contrasting panorama of the capital of the Star of the East.
Fast, tasty, very inexpensive. I advise you to try the festive pilaf and definitely with the achichuk salad and flatbread. And lemon tea. And we also need to see how all this is being prepared. Just keep in mind that in Uzbekistan they eat pilaf for breakfast, it's ideal to come here at 10-11 o'clock
The pilaf center (5 cauldrons) is a very popular place among Tashkent residents and visitors. Delicious pilaf is cooked in several HUGE cauldrons. The atmosphere offers a pleasant time and delicious food. Very fast service. Well done.
A very interesting and colorful place! If you want to try real Uzbek pilaf, come here! Several types of pilaf for every taste! Additionally, dolma, quail eggs and a piece of horse sausage are served. I recommend taking a salad of tomatoes and cucumbers and fragrant green tea! And you will definitely come back here more than once to feel the real taste of Uzbekistan and the flavor of this wonderful culture!
The pilaf is delicious the location is convenient, mostly there are guests of the capital, but it is a little noisy and the prices are more expensive, but there is also such an option called OSH CITY, it is more calm and the prices are cheaper. Osh pilaf is also very tasty and appetizing
It is a very popular place and most importantly delicious. There are many types of pilaf. I took a wedding and a teahouse. The set (quail eggs, kazy, dolma) Portions are hearty. Susma is additionally delicious. The salad is fresh class. Their signature compote. I REALLY LIKED IT.
A great place, Uzbek flavor, a place where you can not only eat delicious pilaf, but also watch the cooking process in huge cauldrons. There is a photo zone for photo lovers! I advise you to visit. You will be delighted with pilaf 😁
Truly one of the best places to eat pilaf in Tashkent. There are several cauldrons here, each of them has its own chefs with their own recipes. I've tried different kinds, but the best pilaf, in my opinion, is in the big cauldron that's across the aisle from the cash register. A spacious room inside, there is a summer terrace and outdoor seating. Therefore, even at lunchtime, finding an empty seat is not a problem. A wonderful place!
If you would like to try real pilaf and see how it is cooked, then this is a great place. The portions of pilaf are large, the pilaf is very tasty. The service is good, we asked for extra plates, and the forks were all brought to us. Everything was brought quickly, but it must be borne in mind that we were during the Muslim fasting period, and the food was ordered before sunset and most of the visitors have not received the order yet.
A very colorful place in Tashkent, you can see how traditional Uzbek pilaf is prepared – large cauldrons – baths on firewood, delicious pilaf is prepared with you, many different salads and of course delicious tea – there are always a lot of people, there are places on the street and inside the cafe – very tasty😍
The place is popular, tourist. We arrived after the tour, late, by local standards, but there were a lot of people, pilaf was still being cooked, the waiters served very quickly. We ordered two different pilafs, "wedding" and "spicy", unfortunately I do not remember the name, salad, tea and, of course, a flatbread. The portions are large, the prices are reasonable. The pilaf was with mutton, which I don't like and don't eat, so I can't appreciate it. My husband ate both types of pilaf, he liked it.
An iconic place in Tashkent that you need to visit, regardless of whether you like pilaf - watching the cooking process of this dish is a special pleasure and delight! Several cauldrons, one of which is just huge, warming on the fire, ovens in which tortillas are baked, the bustle of the oriental market - all this creates an indescribable mood! Well, it's delicious, of course! At the same time, for very affordable money. It is necessary to visit!
P.S. It is better to visit before 13 and after 15, because at this time a new portion of pilaf is being prepared. Although, if you're after the show, it's about time!
Normal service, excellent pilaf, a tourist place where you can watch the whole process of cooking pilaf in huge cauldrons. The waiting time for the feed is no more than 5-7 minutes. In the center, near the fountain and the fountain, you can take pictures until the order is delivered. The portions are not small, rec. wedding or complex. It is a very cozy room, in summer you can sit outside: both are comfortable there.
It is colorful and interesting to walk around the "kitchen". Of course, the size of the cauldrons is surprising, the number of portions, how they bake tortillas, climbing right into the oven, in general, the whole flavor of the East in one place.
The prices are very pleasant, tea for 2,000, achichuk 7,000, a portion of pilaf (set) 40,000.
For just two people, we gave 66,000 soums for two salads, half a flatbread, tea and one portion of pilaf.
However, the disadvantages are also significant:
- we took a wedding pilaf, mutton was clearly felt in the taste. Despite the fact that everything else was in balance and quite tasty, the taste of mutton left us a little disappointed. Perhaps if we come to Tashkent again, we will come here again, in general it turned out well, we just counted on a different taste.
- long wait for the waiter. Not quite figuring out where the end of the queue is and how to buy pilaf on their own, we decided to sit in the hall. But the waiter did not approach us for 20 minutes, despite the fact that we made ourselves felt, approached them independently, addressed the staff.
The boy came up after a while, quickly accepted the order, quickly brought everything, but since we were very hungry, the waiting at the beginning was very stressful.
A good pilaf center. Inexpensive. There are a lot of people. You can see how they cook (who hasn't seen it will be interesting). Several types of pilaf, drinks. The food is delicious. The portions are large. I liked.
Nice, cozy, colorful. Little Tashkent in one place. The most delicious pilaf and the hospitality of the waiters, who conquer your heart from the first minute. Of course, it's not as cheap as before, but it doesn't spoil the mood❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A must-visit!
Insanely tasty and incredibly colorful.Colorful-this is due to the fact that both locals and tourists are here.Simple, but tasteful. You can see the whole process of cooking pilaf in huge cauldrons.
It's delicious-it's a good portion of pilaf!!!
It's just an oriental holiday.
Oooh this place will never be forgotten!!! I will always fondly remember how my family and I visited this wonderful place!!! Everything is delicious, just lick your fingers and the service goes very fast despite the fact that there is a place for a thousand people!!! I will be in Tashkent and immediately go to Besh Kozon!!!
The number one pilaf and the largest center of pilaf and middle Asia. The pilaf here is very tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and there are even booths. Family or colleagues can come and have a delicious meal. There is a service or self-service.
An atmospheric place. Pilaf is cooked in large cauldrons on wood-burning stoves, everything can be bypassed and viewed up close. The portions are huge - a small one is enough for one person, a standard one for two, or even three can be divided. Tashkent pilaf is closer to what we used to consider pilaf - a lot of oil, zirvak and rice are cooked together.
No matter what anyone says, here is the most delicious pilaf in Tashkent (in my opinion). Right on the shore, this is not a restaurant, but a dining room, the service will go, the interior is taco, the toilet is terrible, but the pilaf is a cannon-bomb-firecracker. I took it spicy - it's very tasty and for me it's very light on pepper, but I'm a fan of straight fire. Achukchuk salad according to the standard, with amazing local tomatoes, tea in a teapot, and take a bag))) It upset me. But what you will see there in the kitchen is just one emotion. Tons of pilaf in huge vats, everything is done with you. This is a must-have place when visiting Tashkent, crossing the road will be a picturesque place - the Rotunda, therefore, when combined with sightseeing and meals, it is ideal.
It's a very cool and colorful place that you can't miss if you come to Tashkent. Here you can watch live how real Uzbek pilaf is cooked, and it looks very interesting) there is an open veranda and a restaurant, there are always few free places, but for the sake of such pilaf it is not a pity to wait for a free table. There is simply nothing to say about the taste, it is divinely delicious))
A tourist place. 3-5 types of pilaf. Wedding, Special (olive oil) and Tea House. You can walk among the cauldrons, admire the process, take pictures. If you want to observe the whole process, then you need to arrive by 8-9 in the morning, by the time the cauldron is kindled. The waiters are polite and well-mannered. The only disadvantage of this place is that it is a very noisy huge hall, but there's nothing you can do about it, crowds of tourists. Prices are surprisingly average in Tashkent.
Delicious, inexpensive, fast service, impressive! Every lunch in Tashkent is only here. There are a lot of people like in an anthill, but it even gives some kind of atmosphere. You can view the entire production cycle. Huge cauldrons and a living fire!
A very authentic place, incredibly delicious pilaf, fast service, more than a reasonable price tag. The only drawback is it's a little noisy, but it's just the specifics of the place where you came to eat well and quickly and then walk and chat somewhere else
Too many people, of course this place is well advertised) there are a lot of foreigners, they bring groups, show the local flavor, it's worth it, the prices are acceptable, but the pilaf itself is not so good, the locals will understand this, the meat smells strongly of mutton, it's very hard to reach the waiter and you stand for a long time in Tver to the cashier to pay
(See.video-Saturday,05/11/2024)
A popular place with an interesting kitchen where you can take pictures of the process of cooking pilaf from huge cauldrons on an open fire.
You sit down at a table, they serve you pretty quickly. At first, a girl who doesn't understand Russian well came up, called a man and we understood each other.
We ate wedding and some other pilaf, I don't remember what it's called. I liked the wedding one more. The other one was a little fat for us. But the society of empty plates is our everything!) We drank tea. Plus there was a salad. They came out well-fed, well-fed, happy.
There is a lot of space for everyone. There were no queues. They sat down immediately. There were about two or three days.
This place is a must-visit in Tashkent. It is very interesting to see the cooking of pilaf in such volumes. And of course, try it. Delicious! But, finding a waiter to place an order is still a quest)))) they bring the order very quickly.
Very tasty national cuisine. But it is designed mainly for foreigners and prices are determined according to popularity and recommendations (an order of magnitude higher than in other good places). Usually there are a lot of people and the staff does not have time to serve. I didn't like the indifference of the waiters and dirty toilets.
A great place to try the main dish of Uzbek national cuisine is Tashkent pilaf. A lot, appetizing and delicious. We visited the Besh Kozon near the TV tower. There are a couple more places in Tashkent.
Great pilaf and a very atmospheric place! I recommend it to everyone who came to Tashkent. There is a lot of space and there are great places nearby for a walk after a hearty lunch
This is a cool place where there is a lot of pilaf, very colorful and delicious, various refreshing drinks and of course pilaf, since there are few places where you can find it in the city. I advise everyone to try this pilaf, especially for tourists.
Not impressed
The size of the hall was impressive, but everything else was not! Pilaf did not cause gastro-delights, the search for a toilet turned out to be a quest, I will stop at ordering in more detail. Even before the trip, we read that you can place an order yourself at the checkout or, which is more familiar to us at the waiter's table, which is naturally a little more expensive. But the waitress tried to send me to the cashier, only the receptionist who appeared was able to take the order, and the time was early and there were few visitors. What then happens with the massive influx of tourists!? Bottom line: the place is tourist, not bad, but not impressed!
A great place
The national Uzbek cuisine with its beauty, goodies and traditional tea has won our hearts
The service is good
to get together to eat pilaf with friends 🫶🔥
Let's go by reviews and recommendations. However, they were very disappointed. There are many places in Tashkent where you can eat pilaf, which is much tastier hot and with fresh products. Here they brought us a cold pilaf. The assorted salad was brought with withered vegetables, they asked to change it, they also brought it with stale tomatoes. In general, I do not recommend this place. It's too crowded. Once again, Tashkent is full of places with delicious hot pilaf, and where there are fewer people and cheaper.
It turns out that only at the age of 35 I ate real pilaf!!! Atmospheric colorful place, you can see with your own eyes the whole process of cooking pilaf, large portions, delicious bread, fast service, reasonable prices, I liked everything. If you like black tea, forget it, ask for green tea. Black tea is in bags there, it is not respected there 😄
Bon appetit, good and peace to all!
The most delicious pilaf in Tashkent! You can see how they cook!!! Pilaf, tortillas, tea - everything is very tasty! Everything is fresh and hot!!! I recommend everyone to come here and try all kinds of pilaf!!!
