When you come to Alacati, the sea, the sun and the first place that comes to mind when you think of quality service. The magnificent sea, exquisite food , cocktails, the smiling face of the staff, believe me, it is an elite place that will allow you to spend excellent hours.

A nice place where not everyone gets the sea, immaculate sand, delicious employees are fine, but we didn't like the insufficient kitchen menu, pizza and mussels, other than that, it's a place where we'll have a pleasant time

we made a reservation through Rezervem to go to Uma Beach, where we went with our female friends in the summer of 2024 and did not have any problems, to go again with my wife on 19.07.2026 this summer. When we went to the venue for the entrance, we saw that a hijab-clad lady was waiting at the door. Because my wife was also wearing a hijab, we were told that our reservation did not appear at the same time as we were entering. Although we stated that our reservation was confirmed by showing our message, the excuse “it does not appear in the system” was repeated. When we reacted to this situation, the hijab-wearing ladies waiting next door also said that they were not allowed in because they were wearing hijabs. We have seen discriminatory practices against hijab-wearing people in the news from time to time, this time we witnessed it ourselves. What happened made me feel that another version of the discrimination applied to blacks in America in the 1930s is still being experienced by people wearing hijabs in Turkey today. This treatment based on clothes and faith is not acceptable for any institution, not for a tourism business. it has been a great disappointment and an embarrassing picture for us that we were not actually taken to the same place that we entered without any problems in 2024, because my wife was wearing a hijab in 2026. I demand that Uma Beach make a public and clear statement about this discriminatory practice, initiate proceedings against the people who made and implemented this decision, and take concrete steps to immediately end this understanding that excludes hijab-clad guests. I want these events not to be ignored, no one should be subjected to such discrimination because of their clothes or beliefs, and everyone should be careful about this attitude of this business.
