The Samarkand restaurant in the center of Samarkand is a great place where you can have a good evening, have fun and delicious. The restaurant is huge by my standards, 3 large halls, designed for a large number of people, but this does not affect the service, everything is done quickly and smoothly, the service is at its height. You can try all the variety of Uzbek cuisine, and there are dishes from other cuisines of the world. We ordered different meats, everything was delicious. The price tag is probably more expensive than in other establishments in the city, but much cheaper than in Restaurants in Russia. You can also dance in one of the halls. There is an opportunity to taste Uzbek wine in this restaurant. I recommend an excellent restaurant to visit. I would have come here again.
A large restaurant in Samarkand. Delicious and satisfying cuisine. The prices are quite reasonable. The menu is very diverse. The territory of the restaurant is represented by a platform in the center of the restaurant with a large number of tables and separate offices on the sides. On Saturday, when we were there, there was music and dancing. Despite the fact that the restaurant was completely full, the service was very fast and attentive.
It is a beautiful room, large, there are indoor and outdoor halls. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable. A women's toilet with a shiny floor, girls are photographed there, the interior of the halls is in an authentic design with bright colors of national expressiveness. Blankets were waiting for a very long time, and not because there were not enough of them, but because there was no service. Different waiters come to the table every time, listen to you and immediately run away to the back of the hall, after a minute or two they are already carrying someone's order with a tray, and your request with a blanket will wait. You call a second time, another waiter comes up, listens and disappears into the crowd of the teeming public, and the same thing is not for a blanket, but for an order. But at the next table, where the locals were sitting, a blanket was brought to everyone, and we barely got one for 4. Thanks to the next table, they either saw our surprised looks, or just out of the kindness of their hearts gave 2 blankets to us. We were very pleased. There is no unified order notification system, one waiter announced that due to the high workload our order would not be brought, offered another dish, after thinking, we decided not to wait, as we froze, passed the refusal to the waiter and in general another waiter brought us this dish with a poker face, which is the first time he hears about the cancellation. Rather, there is a connection between the waiters-a deaf phone. It was interesting to watch how you order, conditionally, to Timur, he immediately, after a step, tells it to Arslan, he takes 2 steps and passes your order to Amir, and Farhad will bring you the order at all. The cancelled dish, by the way, was put on the table with a facial expression-personally, "I don't know anything about the cancellation, so eat." The waiter is 5 for the speed of movement and 2 for the service. The food, again, is delicious!
Very good place, clean, several halls, separate rooms.
The staff is polite, attentive, pleasant 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
quickly the dishes and napkins are removed
Well done 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Well , it 's delicious 😋 😋 😋 😋
The menu is extensive, it's a pity that there are no pictures.
There are any drinks and cocktails.
If you want to have a good time and eat delicious food, feel free to come here
The place is good 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
I liked it the most from the food places in Samarkand that we visited. A wide range of dishes with a moderate budget. For two with dessert, about 150k soums came out (without alcohol), but with 15% included in the bill. It is better to be located on the ground floor, it is more fun there - a lot of locals come in large companies and families. At about 19.00, the music program begins - a guy and a girl alternately sing songs in Uzbek and Russian. There is a smaller hall on the second floor, where the atmosphere is quieter. MIR cards are not accepted for payment here or anywhere else in Samarkand.
Visiting the Samarkand restaurant became for me a true journey into the world of Uzbek cooking. From the very first minutes, you feel at home here, thanks to the warm welcome and cozy atmosphere. The interior is made in the best traditions of Oriental style, which adds a special charm.
The menu impresses with a variety of dishes, each of which is a work of culinary art. Separately, I would like to highlight the pilaf - it was simply amazing, with a perfect combination of spices and flavors. Kebabs melted in your mouth, and fresh salads perfectly complemented the main dishes.
The service at Samarkand deserves special praise - the staff is attentive, helpful and really takes care that every guest is satisfied.
This evening in Samarkand left an unforgettable impression, and I can confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates high quality, fine cuisine and real hospitality. I will definitely come back here again!
Very tasty! Atmospheric, pleasant, clean.
Dishes of national cuisine and others. We tried the wine of Uzbekistan, I recommend it.
The dishes are delicious, the portions are large. The staff is excellent. I especially wanted to highlight the main manager in the hall, speaks several languages, is very correct. I highly recommend the restaurant, you will not regret it!
A great place with a colorful atmosphere, I was in a new hall, very beautiful, birds are singing, everything is decorated. The food is at a decent level, I ate meat, salads, and soups, I liked everything. Among the disadvantages - in the dressing room, near the toilets, smoking is allowed, you pass through the smoke smog.
Excellent and clean establishment, the food is super simple, very attentive and helpful staff. The prices are great, very affordable. A cozy atmosphere. I would like to thank the waiter named Shavkat separately. We will definitely come back here. Probably the best place in Samarkand.
A great, popular, colorful place! Very large rooms, the staff is friendly and attentive, a varied menu with traditional and world cuisine, the food was prepared very quickly, the quality and taste are excellent! A variety of cocktails.
A chic restaurant, one of the best restaurants in the city of Samarkand, you can fix birthday events here, beautiful interior, all delicious dishes, polite staff, fixed my daughter's birthday, we were very satisfied...
Good afternoon!excellent restaurant, fast service, everything is delicious, attentive staff. There is a smoking room.
You can dance, national music is always playing.
I definitely need to go. I was at the restaurant on March 8, we were doing a photo zone
One of the most rated restaurants in the city. It consists of 2 huge halls: a music hall, where it is very noisy and loud, but, of course, fun, and with birds, where you can already talk. Very affordable prices, more attractive than in the competitor Sycamore. What is sad, if you want to taste pilaf and samsa, then you need to order them in advance a day in advance. It is these dishes that are on pre-order, and the rest can be tasted immediately. The menu is large, with photos of dishes in different languages. It is mandatory to visit, but I did not repeat it. There are so many excellent places to eat in Samarkand. Don't repeat yourself )
A very colorful place, we had lunch with a girl and were pleasantly surprised by the prices and quality of service. There is a smoking room, a decent menu and interesting interiors in different halls. The next time I visit the city, I will definitely come again)
It's a good place. A national restaurant, but with alcohol and an extended menu. The interior is pleasant, the prices are slightly above average, but for a restaurant you can say they are low. I tried manti, Crispy salad, baklava, fruit tea. Everything is very tasty. If I come again, I will definitely come again
Everyone, everyone, everyone!! Very tasty, good and fast service! Of course, not the Baku courtyard, but everyone is trying. The meat and vegetables are delicious, and the local wine is the most affordable compared to other establishments. For comparison, red merlot at a price of 500 rubles per bottle, in restaurants near Registan from 1500
Great place, atmosphere, service, everything is delicious!!! The prices are very reasonable, if not to say that they are low for such a place! You just have to consider how big the portions are! Salads should be taken 1 for two or more, if you plan to make it hotter. The impressions are the best!!!
A stunningly atmospheric, cozy and authentic place in Samarkand 🇺🇿 affordable prices, delicious food and of course an unforgettable atmosphere 🫶🏻
I recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the life, beauty and uniqueness of Samarkand
Great restaurant! The interior is very beautiful, with high ceilings. The menu is extensive, the food is delicious, the service is fast. The prices are average: two kebabs, two salads, a liter of lemonade, flatbread, sauce, a bottle of Samarkand cognac - 300 thousand soums.
A must-visit place for tourists
It's always festive, colorful, and the design is interesting.
The food is delicious, we were treated to pilaf, it was very nice, thank you.
The prices are surprisingly quite reasonable
Very pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, beautiful serving ,large portions, pleasant prices.I advise everyone who comes to see the city and eat delicious local cuisine to visit the Samarkand restaurant!!
A great place to get to know the local cuisine up close without unpleasant surprises. The widest range, high-quality service, there is alcohol.
Cons - there is very loud music on the ground floor, it is difficult to talk. The dishes are somewhat adapted to the European tourist. But for some, this is a plus
Great restaurant. We returned more than once to feel the atmosphere again and taste our favorite dishes, plus something new. The menu is large. The kitchen is great. The staff is friendly. Success and prosperity.
A very beautiful restaurant, a colorful oriental atmosphere , excellent staff , third floor rustic Russian and retro stuff, a lot of tourists. There are always a lot of people .
It 's the best thing for tourists .
I really liked everything: from the quality of the food, to the service and the atmosphere itself. Delicious and beautiful. The only minor disadvantage is that there is no pilaf available, it must be ordered in advance. But even without pilaf, there is plenty to choose from. Thanks!
A large restaurant with several halls decorated in different styles. The guests are both tourists and locals. Clearly popular. We had lunch in the "national" hall, which was very elegant and atmospheric. Cages with songbirds hang on the walls.
The menu is quite varied. Prices are high by local standards, but quite acceptable for a tourist destination. I liked everything we ordered. The staff is nice and helpful.
I recommend.
A large restaurant with a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The first floor is very noisy. It is decorated based on the motives of Central Asia. Live music. The second floor is quieter. It is decorated in Russian-Ukrainian style. But on the second floor they smoke right in the hall. This is a minus. Any alcohol is no problem (this is far from all establishments in Uzbekistan).
A beautiful restaurant with national cuisine. Everything is new and beautiful, it's nice to sit in no hurry. The food is delicious, the portions are slightly larger than average..Music was playing in one of the halls. The Russian bandstand of the noughties. But in general, it does not bother. The staff is extremely courteous. In general, I recommend
Despite the variety in the menu, everything is very tasty and atmospheric!
I was especially surprised by the humane bill:
for 3 people, with wine and dessert 370 thousand som.
One of the disadvantages is that it is very noisy and crowded in the first hall (we were on holiday, maybe not at other times).
The restaurant is amazing, everything is very tasty, the prices are just great.
There are a lot of people, you have to wait a long time for the dish, but they talk about it in advance. They accept cards.
The new room is amazing, if you book a table, ask for this room. In the evening, due to demand, some positions are not available, but the choice is large, even for the fastidious)
An interesting point: it was raining, a carpet was laid for everyone) a trifle, but how unusual))
An amazing combination of the Ancient East and modern modernism, complemented by the singing of various birds and the care of the staff. The prices are reasonable, the dishes are very tasty.
A beautiful and large restaurant. Book tables in advance. The dishes are delicious, the portions are large. The waiters don't always have time, but that's forgivable. Everyone is very polite and helpful. The price is not too high. It is required to be placed on the train to Samarkand.
A very large restaurant! Several halls, many tables (small and large) and not crowded at all!))
A large, varied menu, both with European and local cuisine.
Mutton is not badly cooked (that's what we came there for).
Delicious salads.
By local standards, there is a decent range of alcohol (local of course).
In general, you need to visit this restaurant at least once!!)
Very tasty! And good prices. Among the relative disadvantages, the locals celebrate their celebrations here, so there is loud music in the main hall. Therefore, either go to the booths, or to the 3rd floor in the Russian hall. Or on the veranda in summer.
One of the most popular restaurants in Samarkand. On the ground floor there is a national hall, and on the second floor there is a European one. It is better to book places even on weekdays.
Important in Samarkand, restaurants close after lunch until dinner. That is, until 19.00
After reading the reviews, we were waiting for something special, in fact, a hostess girl appraisingly examined us at the entrance, and it was clear from her face that she really did not like that a girl in shorts of absolutely acceptable length, at first she said that there were no seats, although half of the restaurant was empty, then she put us in a hall where The music was playing so that nothing could be heard. We asked the waiter to transfer us, he said: no problem, but when leaving, this girl came up again and pointed to the most passable table. Already at this point, I wanted to turn around and walk away from such hospitality. According to the menu, yes, it is varied and large, but when ordering a glass of juice for a child, the waiter kept silent that the juice was not poured in glasses and in fact brought a liter, we waited for meat for more than 40 minutes, no one warned about this either. In total, the impression of the restaurant is spoiled and there is no desire to return and recommend it.
Great restaurant! The guide advised. It is very large, with several halls in different styles. The kitchen is 5+, the service is fast, despite the insane workload (I think 500 people were in the restaurant at the same time) and the fact that we were a big company. The prices are very reasonable.
A huge restaurant. A very large menu.
The service is excellent, the reception is pleasant at the entrance, the waiters come very often.
But unfortunately we didn't like the food, so 3 stars. They ate a dish of mutton, manta rays, and chakhokhbili. We have met places in Uzbekistan where the same dishes are tastier.
I stopped by to have a snack before departure, a great place! The atmosphere is pleasant, the dishes are delicious, and the layered patyr is mmmm yummy. In general, I liked everything, I recommend it!
+: atmospheric, colorful place, 3 huge restaurants, huge menu
(although this is also a minus) 3 or 4 halls, each in its own style.
-: the service leaves much to be desired, the taste of the dishes, especially desserts, is also not very good, lemonade like mojito is given to jupi
A large restaurant, there are several separate halls, there were a lot of people in the evening, events, dances, songs, loud music are taking place in one of the halls, if you want to sit in silence, you can ask to sit in a quiet hall, prices are reasonable, alcohol is sold.
It's beautiful, tasty, clean, I take off the star for the lack of pilaf (they cook to order, we went because of the pilaf). I take off the second star for small portions, that is, for the first time in Uzbekistan I saw such small portions that soups are like shish kebabs, in the end we went to get to Joni
To sit quietly, you need to go up to the 3rd floor, because there are always noisy banquets on the 1st floor. Very tasty food and affordable prices, fast service despite the large number of guests.
Well-deserved rating 5.0
Everything is delicious, the portions are large , the serving is fast and at the same time to all the guests , there were 6 of us and everyone was satisfied !!!I want to look at every detail of the interior!
We recommend you to visit
I was led by the reviews, the menu is huge, the restaurant is beautiful, the service is fast, the portions are large, but the most important thing is that it is delicious, but magic did not happen, the food is about nothing, although they may not have chosen the most successful dishes, although they ordered 4 different positions. The waiters do not know any languages, they could not advise anything.
A great place, very tasty prices, a large selection of dishes, 3 halls, chic surroundings, prices are 20-30 percent lower compared to other places. I recommend
Everything is very tasty and a very large selection of dishes, the prices are pleasant, the dishes are fresh, good service, the location is also very affordable in the city, I will come back again
The Samarkand restaurant is one of the WORST restaurants we have met in Uzbekistan!
Our journey through this beautiful country began with Sunny Tashkent, then Khiva, then Bukhara! Everywhere, all the anchor restaurants amazed us with delicious food and excellent staff.
But then we arrived in Samarkand…
And of course, in the evening it was necessary to have dinner, Yandex opened and the highest ratings at the Samarkand restaurant.
In fact, it is a TERRIBLE place with DISGUSTING cooked dishes.
1. They smoke right in the restaurant, it's hard for a non-smoker to breathe;
2. Salads do not have washed greens;
3. Salads are seasoned with mayonnaise sauces;
4. The restaurant is very dirty.
If we talk about the staff, then everything seems to be not bad. We were met by a steamed-up young man (this is understandable, the flow of people like us is huge), promised to plant and kept his word (THANKS here)
All dishes are prepared simply by piling into a plate, like piglets.
When you are in Samarkand, avoid this place.
Big restaurant, lots of space. Delicious food, large portions, reasonable prices. Of the disadvantages, there are always a lot of things on the big menu, you need to ask the waiter. They bring large groups of tourists or just big companies come. But there are also separate small quiet halls and offices
