A great museum. There are quite a few interesting exhibits, at the same time there are not so many that you do not get tired of looking at them. And the building itself is a masterpiece of modern architecture.
Unreal place ♥️♥️🔝🔝🔝 I recommend everyone to visit ) paintings, expositions, interior, facades and everything in general will cause the best ratings and impressions !
The exposition inside is small, to a large extent everything is rented or temporarily exhibited. But everyone comes here to see the building itself, it's like a separate art form.
One of the wonders of the world! 80% of the building is on the water! The museum exhibits real antiques: figurines, paintings, icons, books, coins and much more! At a certain period of time, turtles come here. In the museum, you can download the application and by pointing to the quarcode of the exhibits, you can listen to information about each antique item. I recommend everyone to visit!
The building is interesting from the point of view of architecture. The set of exhibits is not that big. You can see everything in a couple of hours. Interesting places on the street around the museum
I was delighted with the layout of the museum outside and the exhibits inside. As always, the Emirates is a wealth in all its glory. Open spaces after exhibitions, a great bonus. Giant turtles in the water.
A wonderful museum with an original composition of exhibits. There are ancient artifacts and paintings by artists of the early 20th century. Free Wi-Fi. I liked the application on my smartphone, which when you point the camera at the work gives information about it. By the way, you can just download the Louvre Abu Dhabi app and listen to audio tours.
Everything is great!
It is very convenient to use the interguide!
It's a shame that the time of the presence itself was limited as we were on a guided tour!
I advise you to visit!
New, outwardly beautiful. You download the program to your phone and listen to information about each exhibit. Exhibitions are changing.average impression, because I've seen more and more diverse
A magnificent museum! We lived in a hotel on Saadiyat, therefore, the Louvre was originally planned to visit. We drove during the day in the heat, people in moderation, did not stand on each other's heads. Tickets were taken online, passports were taken, because there was a 15l teenager with us, looking older. Just his document was asked, because children under 18 are free. The entrance to the museum is fast, water cannot be brought into the halls themselves. There are air conditioners in the halls, ladies, take a cape on your shoulders or a handkerchief, it's cold with bare hands!
The concept has already been written about, from ancient times to the present. In the first halls it was sometimes boring, because this has already been seen in archaeological and local history museums. There are spaces for relaxation between the halls, you can sit on the sofa. The temporary exhibition in October includes ancient religious books, the Bible, the Koran, and the Torah. There are a lot of books, specific, but interesting.
We went for the originals of the paintings, the child was eager to see Van Gogh. We didn't find the Dutchman, he hasn't been in the museum for a long time :) I am delighted with Monet and Kandinsky, the child also liked Chagall. I would really like to visit separate halls of painting, and to have more paintings.
A place where the best creations of representatives of mankind are collected. A place where the past is hormonally intertwined with the future. If you decide to visit this museum, plan more time, since it is simply impossible to see everything during a 2.5-hour tour.
A place worthy of admiration!!!
An unusual building.
A good audio guide. There is wi-Fi in the museum, you can immediately download the audio guide via QR code. Tells about each hall and each exhibit
Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece is presented.
Kandinsky's paintings.
If you are with children under the age of 10, be sure to visit the children's museum. It's interactive. And very interesting.
The Louvre in Abu Dhabi is the most expensive franchise.
This is certainly not the one in Paris. But some of the exhibits are there. It's worth a visit!
The building is very beautiful from the outside, not ordinary, standing in the water, everything is white, the roof is extraordinary. The exhibits are super, but for connoisseurs. I'm an amateur, I liked it. The organization is good, there are no long queues or other problems
As the place of the first location, after 4-5 hours of driving from Fujairah, it's really nothing! There are not so many exhibits, maybe their value is not so high, but as a fashionable place with a beautiful name, it is quite decent! The new model, like everything in the UAE, is not worth much architectural praise, but I repeat, it was done decently.
I was there in August 2023 ... the heat is 42 but in general it is normal to transfer) I liked the museum, it is made in the shape of a turtle and through the shell rays of the sun, so beautiful) the museum itself is not big. Lay down three hours. There is a parking lot nearby, I haven't seen a cafe. There are both modern and very ancient exhibits. About six or seven halls. There are turtles swimming in the bay! Very interesting there, I recommend
Bravo to art critics for putting together such an exhibition. Compared to Paris, this Louvre is very large and you can see everything quickly enough. There are a lot of artifacts, not just paintings and sculptures. There are exhibits rented in European museums, and there are already those that the sheikhs bought and it is owned by the state. There are many interactive screens where you can view objects in 3D. There's not much contemporary art, but I think it's just a matter of time. I am delighted with the museum!!
One of the few must see places in Abu Dhabi. A collection of originals from the Stone Age to Kandinsky and Chagall. Everything is a little bit, really, but it's definitely worth a visit
I recommend you to visit!
There are not many works, but all are unique - you don't get tired of viewing the entire collection.
Architecture is what this place is worth visiting for. A stunning courtyard and a roof with sunny bunnies, and a real sea turtle in a special pool.
Everything is very stylish, restrained and elegant. We were in June - there are not many tourists. Not everyone can be imbued with the value of such attractions.
It's a beautiful place, we liked it, I recommend it. It is advisable to stock up on a telephone translator if you do not know English, so that it would be interesting to read about the exhibits.
There is a lot of space, nothing and no one bothers anyone. The design of the building is very modern. Exhibitions and exhibits are being updated. You can walk around slowly in 2-2.5 hours
Visited twice in a short period of time. A luxurious Impressionist exposition, consisting mainly of exhibits from the Orsay Museum and the Louvre. As well as artifacts of antiquity, collected bit by bit by archaeologists from all over the world, take you to the prehistoric era: there are golden masks of the Maya culture, porcelain figurines of the Qin dynasty, Byzantine mosaics, and tombstones of Egyptian pharaohs...
A wonderful modern museum. If you take your time, with an audio guide (you can download it on the Internet) - for 3-4 hours. 12 halls and a complete eclecticism in the sense of exhibits
The museum is a must-visit in Abu Dhabi. You can download a special mobile phone application with a translator of information about the exhibit in any language.
A very Cool Team is working. Exposures, Light, Architecture. It's a pity that few exhibits are changed, and temporary exhibitions could be more frequent.
The Kunstkammer of St. Petersburg has twice or even three times more exhibits than in this type of Louvre.... Nooo!!!! It is worth visiting at least because of its performance, location and overall atmosphere in this magical place!!!
In Abu Dhabi, I was in transit for only a day. And in one day, in addition to the mosque, my friends and I managed to visit this museum. The territory is large, beautiful, very spacious halls. Interesting expositions, a lot of interesting things are presented in the halls. Friendly staff who are always ready to help answer any of your questions.
The modern and beautiful building is a masterpiece in itself, the collection of dishes, paintings, busts is a highlight. Definitely worth a visit and it's better to set aside the whole day to slowly inspect the collection
An interesting place to visit for the first time, but I do not consider myself a connoisseur of the high and beautiful, that's why 4 out of 5. It was to some extent pleasant to walk there, but apparently it's about me)
The Abu Dhabi Art Museum, which opened in 2017. The collection of the Louvre Abu Dhabi includes exhibits from various eras and civilizations, including paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Picasso, Gauguin, Manet, Magritte, Bellini
The exhibition space is quite interesting. Interesting interiors and architecture of the building. One of the points for a mandatory visit to Abu Dhabi. And don't forget to watch the huge turtles feeding there.
A beautiful modern building, but the location of the halls is peculiar, you can accidentally miss the whole art gallery, which is located on the way to the cafe after viewing the main exhibition. In general, the most interesting for me was a small hall dedicated to ancient Egypt. For convenience, you can download the Louvre app and walk through the halls with an audio guide in Russian, but for most of the exhibits the audio guide is not available, apparently some of the exhibits are being updated. In general, the Louvre is worth the money - 63 derhams, at least to look at a modern architectural solution.
I remember an amazing place, especially the starry sky. The idea of this museum is to rent paintings and stuff and then return them. I am sure that the attendance of the museum does not compensate for even a small part of the content of this epic place. But it's worth a visit!!!
You can get around everything in 2 hours, but you don't need to do more. You get very tired. Cool spacious modern museum, there is something to see. Manet, Renoir, Marc Chagall, Da Vinci. A lot of interesting things, ancient Egypt impressed!
You need to come separately and on purpose! It takes a whole day to explore everything and enjoy the masterpieces of art and history! This is definitely not the place for an hour! It is very beautiful and fascinating!
It's hard to compare when I was in the real Louvre in Paris. There are simply no comparisons. Nothing yet. There are isolated exhibits that are interesting. Otherwise, it's still a little weak, we expected more.
The painting of the Great Master
Leonardo Da Vinci
The Savior Of The World Is Apparently
The Main Value is the Main Thing
The wealth of this Museum and
This Is Clearly A Masterpiece.
A very unusual and stunningly unusual structure. Openwork roofs and exits to the sea, passages between halls along galleries.
And inside there are masterpieces of art.
Be sure to visit if you are in Abu Dhabi.
