Even today, the palace impresses with the luxury and brilliance of the mirror finish. This is a work of art by the masters of those years, miraculously preserved to this day. I recommend a visit.
Beautiful! - but for some reason, the staff does not know the origin of many of the exhibits on display.. In particular, from where and how and when exactly large malachite vases appeared..
It is impossible to be in Tehran and not visit Golestan. I was surprised by the use of mirror mosaics. I would like a clearer navigation when buying tickets, what is included.
Strange, but it turned out to be a problem for us to find the entrance)) The place is interesting, there are many expositions and halls with appropriate furnishings. Three hours flew by unnoticed.
Golestan (Rose Palace) or Marble Palace was built in the 16th century and was constantly rebuilt in the future. During the time of Shah Agha Muhammad Khan Qajar (18th century), the capital was moved to Tehran, and the palace became the permanent residence of the Persian rulers. Today it is a museum where Iranians and guests of the capital like to come.

The Palace of the Iranian Shahs, there are many interesting and unusual things in the palace itself. A large exhibition of paintings and gifts from around the world. Including from the Russian emperors. Audio guides are only in English.
Прошли мимо главного входа, его плохо видно. Зашли с другой стороны, благо входов несколько. Это очень красивое здание со множеством комнат! Красивейшие зеркальные стены! Очень искусная работа мастеров.
