The English tower was built entirely from materials brought from the UK by Argentines of British origin and, of course, in the English style. The facade was decorated with typical symbols of England - the Tudor rose, thistle, red dragon and shamrock. Even the ringing of the bells mimics the ringing of the bells of Westminster Abbey. At the entrance there is a bas-relief with the coat of arms of the province of Buenos Aires as a sign of the fusion of two cultures. They just say that after the conflict over the Falkland Islands, the Argentines prefer to call the tower Torre Monumental.
