I am not the dan of modern art. I mostly find it so ugly and I see it not as an art. But I visit all modern art museums. Such a confusion right. Yeah here there are some stuff you may enjoy, or could attract your attention. However I am not satisfied as always. On the other hand the building itself offers alot to interior designers and architects. You will witness one of the best example of industrial design's crusted metal walls here inside. Plus natural lighting is considered and used wisely in design. So i recommend all architects and interior designers to visit this place. There is also one Cafe near the entrance. Toilets are clean, you can leave your stuff to lockers it is available and free. Entrance fee is 2000 tenge for each as of September 2025.

Beautiful artwork! Great display of Qazaq culture, and the art rooms are super tasteful. I didn’t really appreciate the “artwork” of naked people in water on screens, but that’s the only distasteful part.

Wonderful landmark. Highly recommended for visiting at least once! The museum shop and the cafe are also great places for a stop!
