The station is like a train station, quite ordinary, to the right of the entrance is baggage inspection and passage to the platforms. To the left and right of the entrance there are ticket vending machines and a ticket office and cafes. When exiting, it is far enough to walk to the taxi. Of the minuses: the hall itself is small, there is a crush, there are not enough toilets, I did not find any devices to put money on a Spanish SIM card (there is also no location), people often gather in a large crowd and only then are allowed to exit the platform (especially if the train is delayed with departure), the platforms are much lower than the hall level, with strollers and suitcases stairs and escalators down are not particularly convenient (there are few elevators, but it is not entirely clear how they are called), in general, the service is average.

A large, spacious railway station. Good navigation. All railway platforms are underground. There are many cafes. Convenient train station. There is a bus station nearby. Lots of taxis. Large parking lot.

There are practically no cafes at the station. Everything is closed at the entrance, if you go deeper and turn left, there was one place open, but we didn't see it right away and walked across the road. In general, it is better not to come with suitcases much in advance - it is not convenient to carry them, and there is no decent cafe on the territory.

The train station is like a train station, everything is functional. There was a delay in the train to Madrid, people were held for almost an hour, otherwise the station was normal

Convenient European railway station for transfers to all destinations in Europe and Spain, queues are long but moving fast, tickets are average. Recommended for visiting with the whole family

In April 2026, we came across this station twice - the first time we came here by high-speed train from Paris, and then from here we went to Salou (Port Aventura). The review will be not only about the station itself, but also, in principle, about the situation with rail transport in Catalonia now. Upon arrival, everything was fine, but problems started with the road to Salou. The tickets were purchased in advance, but there was no train on the board. The staff was saying absolutely contradictory information and only one thing was clear - there was no direct train to Salou (as we understood, due to the severe flooding in Spain in January 2026), although tickets were sold as if for a direct train without indicating transfers. Then the most interesting thing began - one of the station staff assured us that you can get to Salou with two transfers - first you have to take a bus, then another train, and there are no other options. Someone claimed that if you take one of the electric trains to the terminal station, you can immediately take the train to Salou, without a transfer. Since there were not very many alternative options to get from Barcelona to Salou (either a train or a car rental, a one-way taxi would cost about 120€ and it was almost impossible to call it), we decided to try the second option at random and got to Salou safely, although there were doubts until the last one. The return trip to Barcelona took place along the train -> bus -> train route, but we never got to Barcelona Sants station - due to schedule delays, we were taken by bus to El Prat station and from there we were already on our way to the center of Barcelona by taxi. The most interesting thing is that initially there was no information at the station that there were changes in the train schedule, when buying tickets, the staff also did not inform that the road would have several transfers, there was also no information about this in the ticket. There is only technical information in Catalan about the work in certain areas. Situations can be unpredictable, and natural phenomena can be insurmountable. But passengers suffer because of this, especially tourists who do not speak Spanish or Catalan and do not know all the features of local transport.

for the employee in the information window of the rinfe, the only one who understood and speaks English. Others don't understand, don't speak, and generally behave rudely.

A lot of people, the staff speak mostly Spanish, but there are also those who understand English. I advise you to arrive 40 minutes before departure, the route is displayed on the scoreboard 20 minutes before departure

wonderful train station. Modern. It looks more like an airport. Only the metro is located extremely poorly. Not so much far away as inconvenient. TO CROSS THE ROAD, to be understood, to descend...

Big , metro, intercity buses.... A motley audience, metro workers just get tired of how many go for subway maps and still need to be explained and translated.Of course, their card with a ribbon is bullshit compared to the Three.
