There are guided tours also- check online about when and how. And ofcourse it’s a lifetime memory to watch an opera or a ballet at the Bolshoi.

An absolute must, if you can get tickets. Russian culture is the envy of the world and the Bolshoi ballet sits at the top. We managed to get seats (scattered around) to the Nutcracker just before New Year. The music and dancing nearly brought me to tears. The pinnacle of artistic expression.
