Sevanavank is a beautiful and historic monastery with stunning views over Lake Sevan. The architecture and setting make it one of Armenia's must-see attractions. However, it is also one of the most touristy places in the country. The souvenir sellers can be quite persistent and may actively try to draw visitors into their shops, which takes away a bit from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Still, the views and the monastery itself are absolutely worth the visit.

Севанаванк — невероятно красивое место с потрясающим панорамным видом на озеро Севан. Сам храм, как и большинство древних святынь Армении, выполнен в традиционном стиле — внутри всё очень строго, аскетично и лаконично, что придает ему особое величие. Место дышит историей, а сочетание сурового камня и синей озерной глади выглядит просто завораживающе.

The view is spectacular from here. It was unfortunate that photography was not allowed inside, but I do understand why. It's a walk to get here, but not difficult and completely worth it.
