GUM is a beautiful and iconic place right in the center. The architecture is stunning, and the atmosphere inside feels lively and elegant. Plenty of shops and nice spots to walk around. The only downside is that the restroom isn’t free. Overall, still a great place to visit.

Очень люблю ГУМ с детства. Но некоторые моменты просто возмутительны. Ситуация: на улице апокалипсис, ливень, гром, молния. Крыша Гума дала течь. Это я засняла только одно место. На третьем этаже вода капает так, как будто шли под дождем на улице. При этом туалет стоит 250 рублей, а воспользоваться феном можно за 1500 рублей. Все для москвичей и гостей столицы. По-моему это перебор. Будьте любезны, создавайте комфортные условия пребывания в любую погоду, раз уж дерете такие деньги за ТУАЛЕТ и фен. Уважаемые туристы, в дождь приезжайте в гум с зонтом. У властей нет денег на починку крыши. Но за туалет они сдерут с вас как следует. Стыд и позорище.

Today I visited Gum to look at the Christmas decorations for the holidays. There were many smaller trees all decorated differently and a large main tree in the middle of the shopping centre which had a souvenir shop at the base of it. I really recommend bringing the family down to have a look this new year! Great vibes and lots of people, the Christmas market next door at Res Square will host ice skating and lots of hot wine.
