Saint Petersburg in Russia is the most wonderful and beatifull city, greatest hystorical center. Sometimes it is called the Northen Venice, however Venice is not an example for me (I have been there as well) to compare it that way. Huge city is properly maintained, very clean, well developed. Public transport works as Swiss watch, Metro (undeground) is a separte art of this state, each station is unique, some of them decorated on marble. White nights in June and Rubinstein str.(bars, bubs, restorants of all kinds), paint art on the Nevsky prospect There is nothing else to add, you have to go there an see it ones in your life
