The Palace of the Republic is a landmark place for the city, with a rich history and atmosphere. The location is convenient, the city center is easy to reach. The hall is large, the stage is clearly visible from most places, and the acoustics are generally decent. On the downside, in some places it feels like the building is not new: the interior is outdated, the hall can be stuffy, and the staff service is not always up to par. The organization of events depends on the specific event — sometimes everything is fine, sometimes chaotic. In general, it is an important cultural venue in Almaty, but we would like more renovation, modern service and comfort for visitors.
