We went on an excursion to Cairo from the La Rosa hotel. We decided to take a tour from the hotel, and not from the tour operator, because it is cheaper. The trip for two came out at $110. The tour includes a Russian-speaking guide, an air-conditioned bus with WiFi, a visit to the museum, a visit to the oil factory (shop), lunch, pyramids (without going inside), the sphinx. Bus: comfortable with air conditioning and WiFi, which loads perfectly. It was good to drive, but the neighbors got nasty, they completely decomposed on the seats on our knees and did not want to get up, we had to fight a little. Museum: it will do for once, nothing special, an ordinary museum, the guide conducted the tour, told the main points. Oil factory: we gave a small lecture about the benefits of all oils, the prices are adequate. Lunch: a small buffet, there is a choice, but not satisfying, cabbage and rice, meat was taken out (one piece per person), drinks are not included in lunch. Pyramids: cool, beautiful, give a lot of time to take pictures. Sphinx: visit for 10 minutes, looked at from afar, not allowed close. Also, for a fee, they offer a trip along the Nile ($ 10): the river is not very dirty, the tour is interesting, the Russian music is loud, the view is beautiful, the pictures are beautiful, I recommend They also offer a visit to the small pyramid and the observation deck, from where all 3 pyramids are visible, on a camel ($15). In general, I recommend the tour, it is interesting and beautiful. At the hotel, we ordered dry rations and a late dinner. The only disadvantage is the long road, it takes 9 hours to get there, 8 hours to get back, they took everyone to the hotels for a long time. But you can be patient.

Today, on 5.01.2025, we took a minibus tour (group of 6-8 people) to the city of Cairo with a visit to the Egyptian Museum and the pyramids! There is no limit to stormy positive emotions! A cool extensive tour from Mahmoud from the La Rosa hotel 🔥🔥🔥 the cost per person is $60 (our guide from Anex offered for $ 85/person . the same program) I think this amount is justified -it takes 6 hours to get to Cairo and 6 hours to get back.We visited the Egyptian Museum first, and the guide met us (she speaks fluent Russian), took us through the museum, told us the main points, and then had time to go through and take a photo/video ourselves. Then we headed to the Nile River (the city of Cairo is of course dirty, there is garbage around and dust from the sands), you can take a boat ride along the Nile for $ 10/person. Then we drove around Cairo sightseeing and got to the dining room-a buffet (chicken, beef, lots of vegetables, rice, pasta), there was no fruit, all drinks for a fee. After lunch, we headed to the pyramids, drove for a long time, there were queues (there were a lot of people) Mora quickly sorted out the tickets for both children and adults, and offered to decide in advance whether we wanted to walk or ride a horse in a cart/camel ($10/person). We took a horse and cart and DIDN'T regret it!!!Lots of great photos and emotions! It was also possible to walk freely near the pyramids, then we went with our group to the Sphinx-we walked there ourselves. Only annoying merchants would sometimes block the passage... there were two drivers in the minibus for safety! They drive carefully, there were several stops for a long time on the road (toilet, coffee, etc.) In general, we are very happy that we trusted Mahmoud and his suggestion!!! We have accumulated impressions for a long time!!! Thanks to Mahmoud and his company
