Terms of Use for the Yandex Documents Service

1. General Provisions

1.1. This document (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") establishes the terms of use for the Yandex Documents service (Documents/Service) and constitutes an integral part of the General Terms of Use for Yandex 360 Services, posted at: https://yandex.com/legal/360_termsofuse (hereinafter referred to as the "General Terms").

By starting to use the Yandex Documents service/its individual functions, the User/Corporate Client shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and the General Terms in full, without any reservations and exceptions.

The current version of the Terms is always available on the Internet page at: https://yandex.com/legal/docs_termsofuse/.

In case of disagreement by the User/Corporate Client with any of the provisions of the specified documents, the User shall not be entitled to use the Yandex 360 services.

1.2. The unified rules and principles for the use of Yandex 360 services, provisions on intellectual property, personal data processing, and liability shall be governed by the General Terms, taking into account the specifics contained in these Terms.

2. Features of the Use of the Yandex Documents Service

2.1. The Service provides the User with the functionality to create, view, edit, and save Documents to a device: (a) using the functionality provided by the R7 Office service (https://r7-office.ru/, JSC "R7", OGRN 1025202837615) under the terms posted at: https://r7-office.ru/license-agreement/; or (b) using Yandex's own technologies with elements of artificial intelligence (hereinafter referred to as "Yandex Technology").

2.2. Documents created by the User are saved to their disk space in the Disk. Yandex reserves the right to establish limits on the number of Documents displayed in the Disk that have been created and/or viewed/edited by the User.

2.3. The use of the Service is carried out using a Yandex ID account. The User's/Corporate Client's employee's login (account name), as well as data from the fields "First Name", "Last Name", "Gender", and "Name at Yandex" specified during the registration (use) of such login, along with the image from their profile page (avatar) and e-mail address, may be displayed and made available to third parties, inter alia, when the User/Corporate Client's employee obtains shared access rights to files in Documents and when leaving comments in files for which shared access rights have been granted.

2.4. The Service provides the User with the ability to grant shared access to a Document by copying a link to it, as a result of which the Document may become available for collaborative editing – viewing and making changes to a single Document by multiple Users via the Service. Yandex reserves the right to establish limits on the number of Users performing collaborative editing.

2.5. The functionality of Yandex Technology may differ from the functionality of the R7 Office service. Yandex Technology is temporarily available in beta-testing mode. This means that some functional features of Yandex Technology may operate unstably; malfunctions, data loss, and other unforeseen errors that may significantly affect the User are possible. By using Yandex Technology, the User agrees to all associated risks. In the event of any malfunctions, failures, or issues with the operation of Yandex Technology, the User may report them to Yandex by following the link: https://yandex.ru/support/docs.

2.6. When using the Yandex Service, the User may have access to the "Editor with Alice Pro" functions in Documents (text files) and "Alice Pro Functions" in Spreadsheets. "Editor with Alice Pro" allows the User, upon request, to use Yandex's artificial intelligence technologies to generate text in Documents, as well as to work with text in the User's Documents, including correcting errors, shortening, and changing its style. "Alice Pro Functions" allows the User, upon request, to use Yandex's artificial intelligence technologies to analyze and process data, generate text, summarize, and perform other available commands in Spreadsheets.

By using the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions", the User shall be deemed to have accepted the Terms of Use for generative artificial intelligence technologies of Yandex, available at: https://yandex.ru/legal/yagpt_termsofuse.

The User undertakes to use the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions" within the available functionality in any manner not contradicting these Terms, the Terms of Use for generative artificial intelligence technologies of Yandex, and applicable legislation. Any use outside the scope of these Terms and the Terms of Use for generative artificial intelligence technologies of Yandex is possible only subject to prior approval by Yandex.

By starting to use the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions", the User guarantees that no actions are taken or will be taken to bypass technical means of protection against unauthorized use of said functions. Any copying, reproduction, processing, distribution, making available to the public, bypassing of technical protection measures, or other use of elements of the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions" outside the capabilities provided by these functions, as well as any use thereof for commercial purposes without prior consent from Yandex, is prohibited.

When the User uses the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions", Yandex shall not be liable for the quality, completeness, accuracy, reliability, or correctness of the results obtained, nor does it guarantee uninterrupted and error-free operation of the functions.

The results are created automatically using artificial intelligence technologies; consequently, the resulting results may lack uniqueness and may coincide fully or partially with results created based on requests from other Users.

Yandex does not evaluate the legality and reliability of the content of a result obtained through the User's use of the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions" and cannot influence its content or the User's further use thereof. The User undertakes to independently verify the correctness of the obtained result and assess risks related to the further use of the obtained information.

By using the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions" to create or edit texts and other materials, the User accepts all risks, including those related to the infringement of third parties' exclusive rights.

The content of results obtained by the User through the use of the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions" does not express the opinion of Yandex or its employees and shall not be construed as guidance or advice for making decisions or taking any actions.

It is prohibited to use the "Editor with Alice Pro" and "Alice Pro Functions" and/or their elements, as well as the results obtained using them, for the purposes of testing or training models operating using artificial intelligence technologies.
