Terms of Use of Yandex Application Load Balancer
This document contains specific Terms of Use of Yandex Application Load Balancer (the "Service") and is an integral part of Yandex.Cloud Customer Agreement (the Agreement”) and Service Terms set forth at https://yandex.com/legal/cloud_service_terms/. Capitalized terms used herein but not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in Agreement and Linked Documents.
1. Functional Features of the Service
1.1. The Service allows the Client to create and configure Application Load Balancers at the to ensure application resiliency and traffic distribution across the сloud resources of the Platform. Full description of the functional features of the Service is contained in the Documentation of the Service posted on Site.
1.2. Functional Features of the Service:
- providing of fault tolerance of the Customer's applications;
- distribution of network traffic based on application-level information.
1.3. Other functional features of the Service, which Yandex at its sole discretion makes available to the Customer. The full list of functional features is available to the Customer on Site and/or in the Management Console.
1.4. Service Level for the Service is determined in accordance with SLA.
2. Pricing
2.1. The use of the Service is chargeable.
2.2. Service Fee is determined as per Service Rates and billing units specified on Site. Yandex may change Service Rates as stipulated by Agreement.
2.3. Service Fee for the Service depends on the number of used LCUs.
3. Limitations
3.1. The list of additional limitations of the Service specified on Site in “Quotas and Limits” section.
3.2. The Service is available only to Customers using Yandex Virtual Private Cloud.
Terms
Application Load Balancer is a product that allows distributing the load across the Customer's cloud resources to ensure fault tolerance and distribution of traffic at the application level.
LCU (Load Balancer Capacity Units) are computational units allocated by the Application Load Balancer to process Incoming Traffic.
