Service Level for Yandex Managed Service for Greenplum®

This document defines the Service Level for Yandex Managed Service for Greenplum® (“Service”) and is an integral part of Yandex.Cloud Customer Agreement (“Agreement”) and SLA available at: https://yandex.com/legal/cloud_sla. Capitalized terms used herein but not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in Agreement and Linked Documents.

Definition of Service Unavailability:

Unavailability of a DB Cluster consisting of two Master DB Hosts for reading or writing via supported clients, or unavailability of the primary and mirror segments of one of the DB Segments.

The list of supported clients for the Greenplum ® DBMS is contained in the technical documentation of the Service posted on the Site.

Definitions

The terms used in this document with a capital letter and not defined in the Customer Agreement or other documents of Platform have the following meanings:

“Master DB Host” is a part of a DB Cluster hosted on one or more DB Hosts for the purposes of processing connections and coordinating the work of the DB Cluster. Master DB Hosts do not store or process data.

“DB segment” is a part of a DB Cluster consisting of primary and mirror segments hosted on different DB Hosts for data storage and query processing purposes. The mirror segment stores a copy of the data from the main segment and is located on another host to ensure fault tolerance.
