Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager who will work directly with the General Manager of Yandex Qazaqstan and help deliver priority initiatives at the intersection of businesses, departments, and operational scale. This is an in-house consultant role: you will dive into problems, be involved in a wide range of tasks, and drive them through to completion. You will work at the core of developing the Yandex ecosystem in Qazaqstan, including ride-hailing, delivery, e-commerce, marketing, customer service, and B2B directions.

Designing and launching key initiatives
You will participate in designing and launching priority initiatives on behalf of the GM, from collecting and analyzing data to defining solutions and ensuring their implementation.

Supporting cross-functional initiatives
You will support cross-functional initiatives by facilitating communication between teams and tracking timelines and execution quality.

Working with tasks of varying scale and complexity
You will work on tasks of different scale and complexity, including analyzing market opportunities, solving organizational challenges, and resolving operational incidents.

Preparing analytical and communication materials
You will prepare presentations, memos, and analytical materials for internal and external communications and present progress and results to top management in a clear and structured way.

Tracking decisions and execution
You will participate in regular meetings with business leaders, capture decisions, and track their execution.

• Build communication with stakeholders at all levels, from analysts to top management, and help keep everyone aligned

• Enjoy working with data, preparing presentations, and facilitating complex discussions

• Can take unstructured tasks directly from senior leadership and turn them into clear action plans with defined outcomes

• Are able to move projects forward in conditions of uncertainty through initiative and persistence

• Have strong analytical thinking and can quickly get to the core of problems

• Have worked in ecosystem-based or multi-business organizations and understand how to align different business interests

• Have experience in consulting, strategy, or transformation and know how to structure ideas and present them to senior decision-makers

• Have participated in launching complex cross-functional projects from idea to implementation

• Have experience working in fast-growing companies where speed of action and flexibility are crucial

• Understand how ride-hailing, delivery, e-commerce, and marketplace businesses operate

• Have had exposure to operational models and organizational design approaches

• Are familiar with basic data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)

• Understand the Qazaqstan market and regulatory environment and can adapt decisions to local specifics
