Physical Security Specialist
Yandex is a transnational IT company offering an eponymous search engine, an internet portal, and web services across a variety of countries. Given our strong focus on corporate security, we’re looking for a Physical Security Specialist who will ensure that our access and building rules are followed.
Tasks that await you
- Secure facilities and investigate incidents using access control, fire security, and CCTV systems (online surveillance)
- Organize and monitor ongoing cooperation with private security across all facilities
- Monitor contracted builders, cleaners, and caterers
- Personally monitor cleaners in restricted areas
- Conduct round-the-clock walkthroughs (at least twice overnight and twice during the day)
- Ensure counterterrorism security and respond to terrorist threats and acts
- Respond quickly to emergencies discovered during walkthroughs
- Monitor large conferences, seminars, excursions, and VIP events held at Yandex locations
- Physically monitor parking lots for rule violations by Yandex employees and guests
- Store and ensure the security of keys to Yandex facilities, as well as any other keys given to the control group for safekeeping
- Issue and collect one-time passes and work with the reception team at night, on weekends, and on holidays
- Handle reports and other paperwork
We expect that you
- Knowledge of local legislation
- Experience operating access control, CCTV, and fire security systems
- Experience working for government institutions or security services
- Conversational English and Russian
