Physical Security Engineer

Yandex has a physical security service to ensure a safe workspace at the company's facilities, and access control for employees and guests.

We are looking for a specialist in technical and physical security for Yandex facilities abroad.

Your task will be to provide a full range of measures to ensure the physical security of offices abroad, organize the process of designing engineering and technical security systems in offices, interact with colleagues on the functioning of security systems, and investigate incidents.

• Help design engineering and technical security systems for Yandex’s offices and data centers
• Work with the team to ensure that security systems are functioning well
• Participate in a variety of projects and investigate incidents
• Identify and mitigate threats of unauthorized external access to the company’s offices and other facilities
• Identify external threats and suppress unauthorized entry into the company's offices and premises
• Conduct official investigations

• Knowledge of the requirements for ensuring technical safety at facilities in accordance with local legislation
• Knowledge of the principles of organization, construction, and functioning of engineering and technical means of security (video surveillance and access control systems) at facilities
• Experience in writing and implementing safety regulations, and experience in drafting working documentation
• Readiness for business trips
• Fluent Russian and English

• Higher legal or technical education
• Certificates of completion of courses on security systems or retraining in specialized security disciplines
