Operations Specialist (Lima, Peru)

Yango in Lima is building a new logistics service, and we're looking for an Operations Specialist. You will have the opportunity to grow a new business unit inside a top international IT company. The new service is dedicated to creating a purchasing experience with same-day, next-day, and on-demand deliveries. We're looking for a strong, charismatic, and confident specialist with effective communication skills.

We need you to have experience in marketplace/logistics/warehouse operations or support. Experience interacting with couriers and solid knowledge of cross processes would be a good advantage. We really appreciate independence, activity, the ability to think analytically and strategically, and self-study habits.

• Manage the courier acquisition and onboarding process
• Monitor couriers
• Implement alarm activities to stabilize service quality during peak hours, bad weather, and holiday spikes
• Monitor the order routing, collection, and sorting processes
• Control the assignment of couriers to orders
• Support couriers and clients when there are technical bugs and operational route changes
• Meet KPIs

• Know how to take responsibility
• Understand how marketplaces work
• Are able to analyze information and make decisions in tricky situations
• Speak and write in English at an intermediate level
• Are familiar with MS Excel and can structure data
• Know how to multitask and prioritize
• Are sociable, customer-oriented and able to clearly convey information
• Speak and write correctly
