NPI Engineer
The Robo-delivery Hardware Project Management team is looking for an NPI Engineer to ensure the timely and efficient launch of new products at all stages of NPI, from prototype to serial production. You will work at the intersection of development, production, and quality to turn ideas into reliable hardware solutions.
Tasks that await you
R&D and prototyping support
You will assist with all stages of research and development for products and production equipment, including design, prototyping, testing, and pilot and serial launches. You will also oversee prototype production and initial batch manufacturing.

Production infrastructure and test stand management
You will deploy, commission, debug, and maintain production infrastructure, including test stands, stations, and network/server equipment. You will be in charge of developing, assembling, and maintaining test stands (mechanical and software) and validating/verifying test procedures and setups.
Product implementation and cross-team collaboration
You will support the integration of new products into production, analyze and resolve issues, participate in failure analyses, implement corrective actions, and coordinate between development, production, quality, logistics, and supply teams. You will also conduct DFM/DFA reviews to optimize design for manufacturability and assembly.
Training and documentation management
You will train production and service personnel on new products and equipment, and manage related documentation, including work instructions, test reports, and updates.
We expect that you
- Have experience with DevOps tools and environments (Linux, BASH, Python, SSH, VNC, RDP)
- Are skilled in using CAD/CAM, PLM, and ERP systems
- Can read and interpret design documentation (electronic circuits, block diagrams, assembly drawings)
- Have experience with laboratory and measuring equipment (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads)
- Are capable of equipment assembly, commissioning, and repair at both block and component level (SMT, THT)
- Are fluent in English (B2+) and Chinese (HSK4+ for non-native speakers)
