Corporate development Analyst

In this role, you will contribute to our success through acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and non-organic growth initiatives being as part of the Corporate Development and M&A team. Corporate development
Lead in-depth analysis of potential acquisitions and divestments by identifying and evaluating targets that align with Yandex's strategic objectives, and conduct due diligence and financial modeling.

Strategic partnership development
Contribute to the development of strategic partnerships in collaboration with business units (C-suite) to identify and pursue partnerships that enhance Yandex's market position and capabilities.

Research and evaluation
Explore non-organic growth opportunities with cross-functional teams, as well as research and evaluate alternative growth strategies beyond traditional M&A.

• Have strong analytical skills and the ability to dissect complex data and draw insightful conclusions
• Know how to build relevant financial models fast and with minimal supervision, and be familiar with valuation tools and approaches
• Think strategically and have an avid interest in studying market trends in order to develop the ability to identify opportunities for growth and think critically
• Have strong foundations for effective communication and teamwork in order to collaborate effectively with multiple business unit C-level stakeholders
• Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field from a top-tier university
• Have 2+ years of previous experience in M&A, strategy consulting, Private Equity/Venture Capital (PE/VC), investment banking, or corporate development
