Copywriter for Yandex Search
Yandex Search helps millions of people every day, whether they’re looking to find information, translate text and video, or even write something new together!
We want to make sure we’re benefiting as many people as possible, so we’re looking for an experienced Copywriter to help us grow internationally by contributing to projects in Turkey. You’ll be working with our Art Director (if you have a creative partner you work with already, we’d be happy to meet you both). In collaboration with 7.47 (Yandex’s creative studio), you’ll be handling a variety of projects, from small videos or local partnerships to national campaigns.
Tasks that await you
Creative ideas
Description: For starters, you’ll dive into the product, ensuring that the way you describe it is attention-grabbing. You’ll then move on to developing creative ideas, including everything from minor formats to big 360 campaigns. This involves presenting ideas to the team, giving the reasoning behind them, and implementing the best ones. On the last step, you’ll track contractors’ work and stay in touch with cross-teams.

Communication strategy
Description: In conjunction with the marketing team, strategy team, and creative director, you'll build a communication strategy, including finding insights for our target audience, analyzing local communication, formulating messaging hypotheses, and so on.
We expect that you
- Have 5+ years of experience working for creative ad agencies, with an impressive portfolio you’re willing to show us
- Have worked on shoots, unusual formats, and digital formats
- Think big and small alike, including for social media, while staying vivid, out of the box, engaging, and on message
- Are fluent in written and spoken English
- See the big picture and can think ahead
- Are familiar with the latest trends and can predict what’s coming next
- Can find common ground with people, explaining your ideas and working as part of a cross-functional team
Preferred qualifications
- Have experience working on special projects with multiple components, including a variety of communication channels
- Have worked for festivals and want to win awards for your projects
