Our team at Yandex Search develops algorithms that find answers (what we call "facts") quickly. For example, when a user searches [Pushkin's date of birth], we need to show the date and month. If they ask [what's the fairytale about a wolf dressed up as a grandma?], we need to find the name of the story.
Every day, our system processes and quickly answers millions of questions. That helps simplify users' lives since they no longer have to read through search results for answers. Beyond Yandex Search, the fact system is used in other platforms and applications (for example, devices with Alice). We stay on top of modern trends, apply the latest neural network architectures, constantly expand our scope of knowledge, and create new ways to interact using various platforms and languages.

Tasks that await you
- Handle a wide range of natural language processing tasks, from content filtering to neural network text generation
- Collect, analyze, and process data arrays
- Train modern neural network models and implement them in production
- Create metrics for specific aspects of fact quality
- Work with the crowdsourcing platform
We expect that you
- Have excellent knowledge of C++ and Python or a willingness to transition to them
- Have the ability to implement effective algorithms used in high-load runtimes
- Have experience using ML and neural network training methods
- Possess the drive to explore new technologies and handle a full range of ML-related tasks
