Terms and Definitions

Request — A billing unit equivalent to one Matrix Element.

Software — means a computer program, "Distance Matrix", the functional purpose of which is to calculate route distances for different types of transport and modes of travel between multiple coordinates, with and without traffic consideration, indicating the estimated time of arrival between each pair of specified coordinates, registered in the Unified Register of Russian Computer Programs and Databases, for which the Licensor is the rightsholder.

Platform — a computer program, as well as websites on the Internet, for which the Licensee is the rightsholder.

Service — the geographic information systems (GIS) "Yandex Map for the Territory of the Russian Federation", "Yandex Map for the Territory of the CIS (Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan)", "Yandex Map for the Territory of Turkey", "Yandex Map for the Territory of France", publicly available at: https://yandex.ru/maps/, for which the Licensor is the rightsholder.

Matrix Element — a part of the Software's response within a Request to the Distance Matrix, containing data on the distance and travel time of a route between two specified geographical coordinates.

Permitted Use of the Software

1.1. The Licensee is entitled to use the Software in the following ways:

1.1.1. Use the Software function to generate Requests to the Service via the Software interface in order to obtain information about the route distance and estimated travel time between the coordinates of departure points and the coordinates of destination points along the specified route for its subsequent display and use in the Platform.

1.1.2. Use the Software function to generate Requests to the Service via the Software's application programming interface (API) in order to obtain information about a Matrix Element.

1.1.3. Make the data obtained pursuant to clause 1.1 available to the public solely by means of the Software, including within the Licensee's closed systems accessible to a limited number of persons.

1.1.4. Use the Software for its intended functional purpose.

Rights and Obligations of the Licensee

2.1. When using the Software, the Licensee has the right to:

2.1.1. Temporarily, for a period of up to 30 (thirty) days, save (cache) the results of the Software's response (distance, time) on the Licensee's Platform solely for the purpose of increasing the performance of the Platform's system, provided that the Licensee has paid the minimum fee under the standard license specified in Table 1 of the Tariffs.

2.1.2. Save and store the results of the Software's response (distance, time) on the Licensee's Platform for the Term of the Agreement, provided that the Licensee has paid the minimum fee under the extended license specified in Table 1 of the Tariffs.

2.2. When using the Software, the Licensee undertakes to:

2.2.1. Use the Software functions for calculating route distance and travel time only for the Licensee's Platform.

2.2.2. Use the latest updated version of the Software.

2.2.3. Use the two latest current versions of modern browsers to work with the Software.

2.2.4. Not to remove, change the order or sorting, hide and/or modify the data obtained using the Software, as well as any information contained in the Software or the data obtained, including, but not limited to, promotional and informational materials, trademarks, logos, links, or other references to rightsholders, and any other notices and/or information transmitted by the Software together with the data.

Trial Period

3.1. When using the Software during the Trial Period, the Licensee undertakes to comply with the conditions and limits of the Trial Period set forth by the Tariffs, the Agreement, and to fully comply with these Terms.
