Components

Components help users group queue issues based on a shared theme, such as their product, process, responsible party, and so on. A single queue can have multiple components.

Create a component

To create a new queue component:

  1. Open the queue page.

  2. Go to the Components tab.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Enter the name for the component.

  5. If necessary, select the responsible person and fill in the component description.

  6. Select Assign to issues by default if you want new issues with this component to be automatically assigned to the component owner.

  7. Click Create.

Edit a component

To change an existing queue component:

  1. Open the queue page.

  2. Go to the Components tab.

  3. Hold the cursor over the component.

  4. Choose  → Edit .

  5. Make changes and click Save.

Subscribe to a component

If you want to be notified of changes to issues related to a particular component, you can subscribe to it:

  1. Open the queue page.

  2. Go to the Components tab.

  3. Hold the cursor over the component.

  4. Choose  → Subscribe .

If you did everything correctly, an icon appears next to the component name:

View component issues

You can view a list of issues related to a specific component:

  1. Open the queue page.

  2. Go to the Components tab.

  3. Click the name of the component.
