# Bookmarks

You can bookmark useful links and interesting pictures and videos to keep them handy.


## Add {add}

1. Open a site.
1. Tap **![](../_assets/but-menu1.svg)**&nbsp;→ **Add to bookmarks**.

By default, the link is saved to the same folder as the previous one. But you can create a new folder or save the link to an existing folder (or create a subfolder). To do this, tap **Edit** in the popup window and select where to save the bookmark.


## Open {open}

1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tabs-3.svg) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.svg) tab.


## Edit {change}

1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tabs-3.svg) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.svg) tab and open the folder with the bookmark.
1. Tap and hold a bookmark.
1. Select **Edit**.
1. In the window that opens, change the bookmark name or address.
1. Tap **Save**.


## Delete {delete}

1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tabs-3.svg) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.svg) tab.
1. Tap and hold a bookmark.
1. Select **Delete**.
1. Confirm deletion.


## Move {replace}

1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tabs-3.svg) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.svg) tab.
1. Tap and hold a bookmark.
1. Select **Move**.
1. Move the bookmark.


## Sync {sync}

After [syncing](https://yandex.com/support2/yandex-app-android/en/devices/sync.md), the bookmarks will be shared across Yandex Browser and Yandex Start on your other devices.

Bookmark syncing features:
- If you add or delete bookmarks on one device, these changes will show up on your other devices that are connected to the internet.
- If you create bookmarks for the same page on different devices, then the one that syncs with the server first will be saved.
