Display advertising

A Display advertising (display banner) is a banner ad aimed at creating a specific brand image for consumers. Display banners are usually static or dynamic images that attract the user's attention.

Unlike Text & Image ads and adaptive display advertising, the design of these banners isn't flexible: the ad is displayed only how it was created and configured by the advertiser.

When displayed, a fixed display ad is selected based on the unit size: the banner must completely fit inside the unit and fill it as much as possible. Display banners that are too small won't be displayed in the unit.

Adaptive display advertising

Adaptive display advertising (smart banners and display creatives) adapts to the size of the ad unit. The design of these ads is generated automatically for each individual impression.
