Blocking unwanted ads
You can exclude any categories or domains from ad impressions and manage these exclusions in the site settings:
- Go to Website Ads → Sites.
- Select the site from the list.
- Click Settings → Exclusions.
Note
Keep in mind that excluding categories or domains from ad impressions reduce the number of ads competing in auctions, which may impact your revenue. A broader ad pool leads to higher impression prices and more effective monetization. That's why we don't recommend excluding popular ad categories or major sites.
Exclude categories
You can exclude unwanted categories from ad impressions on the Categories tab.
To add exclusions:
- Click Add exclusion.
- In the pop-up window, open the Categories tab and select the ad categories you want to exclude.
- Click Add. If you want to exclude a category that's missing from the list, contact support.
Exclude domains and bundles
You can block impressions for unwanted ads by excluding a specific domain or bundle ID.
Add the domains or bundles you want to exclude from ad impressions on your site:
- Click Add exclusion.
- In the pop-up window, open the Domains tab and use one of the following methods:
- Use the Enter domains or bundles separated by commas field.
- Drag and drop a file containing a domain list into the Drag or select a file field.
- Click Select file and manually select your file in TXT format. All delimiters are supported. You can add up to 1000 domains or bundles at once.
- Click Add.
Manage exclusions
You can see all exclusions from ad impressions at the bottom of the Exclusions window. They are grouped by tabs and appear as a list.
You can manage this list:

Delete any exclusion.

Delete all exclusions under a selected tab.
To delete an exclusion:

Go to the relevant tab.

Select one or more exclusions from the list.

Click Delete.
To save changes, click Save.
