Dynamic Monetization with Google AdSense

Step 1. Create an ad unit (ad block) in Google Ad Manager

In the Google Ad Manager interface:

1. Go to Inventory → Ad units, click Create ad unit, and select Current level from the list.

2. In the Code box, specify the text that lets you identify the ad unit in the ad tag.

3. Select the placement size.

4. Click Save.

Step 2. Set up a connection between Adfox and Google Ad Manager accounts

In the Adfox interface, go to the External monetization tab. Here, you need to set up a connection with your Google Ad Manager account.

1. Enter your Google Ad Manager account's network code. To find out the network code, look at the account URL. For example, in the URL https://admanager.google.com/123456789, the network code is 123456789.

2. Specify the ad block ID in Google Ad Manager. To find it out, go to Inventory → Ad units in Google Ad Manager, select the ad block, and look at the page URL. The ID is in the SlotId parameter.

3. Copy the contents of the Verification code box. In the Google Ad Manager interface, open the settings of the ad block that you created in step 1, paste the verification code into its Description, and click Save. Go back to the Adfox interface.

4. In the Access settings box, you can find the login of the user who needs to be granted access with the Administrator role in Google Ad Manager. Copy this login and go to the Google Ad Manager interface:

   1. Go to Admin → Gobal Settings Click API access, read the participation rules, and click Save.

   2. Click Add A Service Account User. Fill out the user information. As the email address, enter the one that you copied from Adfox. Select the Administrator role and click Save.

5. In the Adfox interface, click Confirm and enable.

The connection between accounts is set up.

Step 3. Create a banner in Adfox

1. Create a banner type. Go to Settings → Banner type → Custom → Nondimensional → + Add. Enter a name and click Add.

2. Create a site, sections, and banner placements. To learn more, see Help:

   • Site structure
   • Add a site, section, and placement

3. Set up monetization.

   1. Go to Sites → Sections → Placements → Monetization settings. Click Create YAN block. In the window that opens, click , select the site, and create a Yandex Advertising Network ad unit.

   2. Go back to the Sites → Sections → Placements → Monetization settings page and create a Google Ad Manager block: specify its dimensions and click Create.

4. Get the ad tag.

   1. On the Sites tab, click Ad tag next to the site.

   2. Select the banner type and position and click Show.

   3. Copy the ad tag and install it on the site.
