# Bookmarks

You can bookmark useful links and interesting pictures and videos to keep them handy.


### Add

1. Open a website.
1. In the address bar, tap ![](../_assets/collections-icon.png).

By default, the link is saved to the same folder as the previous one. But you can create a new folder or save the link to an existing folder (or create a subfolder). To do this, tap **Edit** in the pop-up window and select where to save the bookmark.

### Open

1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tabs-3.png) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.png) tab.

### Editing

1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tabs-3.png) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.png) tab and open the folder with the bookmark.
1. In the upper-right corner, select **Edit**.
1. Tap the appropriate bookmark.
1. In the window that opens, change the bookmark name or address.
1. Click **Finish**.

### Delete



1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tab-icon-1.png) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.png) tab.
1. Delete the bookmark in one of the following ways:
   * In the upper-right corner, select **Edit** and tap ![](../_assets/delete-icon.png) next to the bookmark.
   * Move the bookmark row to the left and tap **Delete**.



### Move



1. Tap the tab counter icon (![](../_assets/tab-icon-1.png) if three tabs are open).
1. Go to the ![](../_assets/bookmarks-android.png) tab.
1. In the upper-right corner, select **Edit**.
1. To the right of the bookmark, tap and hold ![](../_assets/remove.png) and drag it where you need it inside the folder.




### Syncing

After [syncing](https://yandex.com/support/yandex-app-ios/en/devices/sync.md), your bookmarks will be shared across Yandex Browser and the Yandex app on your other devices.

Bookmark syncing features:

* If you add or delete bookmarks on one device, these changes will show up on your other devices that are connected to the internet.
* If you create bookmarks for the same page on different devices, then the one that syncs with the server first will be saved.
