# Special features

At Yandex, we care about our users. That's why we want our Yandex app and other services to be more accessible to people with disabilities.

## VoiceOver support {#VoiceOver}

The Yandex app supports the [VoiceOver](https://www.apple.com/accessibility/vision/) screen reader program. It reads out everything that's on the screen. The user controls the process with gestures.

To launch VoiceOver, open the device settings, go to **Accessibility**, and enable the **VoiceOver** option. You can also ask Siri to do this.

## Smart camera {#smart-camera}

[Smart camera](https://yandex.com/support/yandex-app-ios/en/app/smart-camera.md) is a camera in the Yandex app. It recognizes objects, tells you about them, and shows where you can buy them. It also recognizes text, translates it, and scans documents.

Turn on the [VoiceOver](#VoiceOver) program and follow the voice prompts.

1. The voice assistant will tell you about the modes available in the Smart camera and guide you on how to use them. You can scroll through the different modes and listen to their description. To switch between the Smart camera modes, swipe the screen to the right or left.
1. In the **Search** or **Products** modes, point the camera at an object: the voice assistant will recognize the object and tell you more about it. If it's available for purchase, the assistant will also provide info about stores and prices.
1. In the **Search** or **Products** modes, take a photo of the object. Browse the tabs below the image: there, you'll find a detailed info about the object, stores and prices (if it's a product), as well as similar objects and a list of websites featuring them.
1. In the **Translation** mode, point the camera at the text in a foreign language. Wait for the camera to recognize the text and display the translation. Tap ![](../_assets/translate.png) to access the options **Copy text** and **Open in Yandex Translate**.
1. In the **Text** mode, point the camera at the text. If it doesn't fully fit the frame, the assistant will ask you to move the camera in the right direction. Once the Smart camera has fully recognized the text, the voice assistant will read it out loud. You can copy and share the text.
