Use the bank card manager to easily view, change, and delete your bank card data in the Yandex app.

Save a bank card

When you enter your bank card information in Yandex Browser for the first time, it offers you to save them and use them for autofilling online payment forms in the future.

To save bank card data manually:

  1. Open any tab.
  2. To the right of the SmartBox, tap  → My data → Bank cards.
  3. If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
  4. In the bottom-right corner, tap .
  5. Enter the card number, expiration date, and the owner's first and last name if necessary.
  6. Tap Save.

Where can I pay?

  • In online stores integrated with Yandex.Checkout.
  • In Yandex services.
  • In Yandex mobile apps.
In any online store or online payment service.
How is my data protected?

Your data is protected by the standard developed by VISA and MasterCard.

Encryption AES-256-GCM is applied with the key, which is used to encrypt passwords. For better protection, create a master password. A key protected with a master password is almost impossible to crack.

Can any online stores or other online payment recipients access my card data?

No.

Yes, just like when you enter your card details manually.

View card data

  1. Open any tab.
  2. To the right of the SmartBox, tap  → My data → Bank cards.
  3. If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
  4. Tap the card you want to edit.

Change bank card data

  1. Open any tab.
  2. To the right of the SmartBox, tap  → My data → Bank cards.
  3. If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
  4. Tap the card you want to edit.
  5. Tap Edit.
  6. Change the card number, expiration date, or the cardholder's name.
  7. Tap Save.

Delete a bank card

  1. Open any tab.
  2. To the right of the SmartBox, tap  → My data → Bank cards.
  3. If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
  4. Tap the card you want to edit.
  5. Tap Delete card.
  6. Confirm deletion.

Card syncing

For security reasons, card data is only synchronized if you're using the master password. Card data is securely protected during synchronization.

Bank card data is currently synced only between computers and Android smartphones. When other mobile devices support storing bank card details, you will be able to synchronize your card info across all your devices.

Card syncing will be disabled if syncing is fully disabled. To disable only password and card syncing:

  1. At the bottom, tap  → .
  2. Tap Syncing.
  3. Turn off Passwords.

Disable the card manager

Note. Even if you disable the bank card manager on your current device, it still stays enabled on your other devices.
  1. To the right of the SmartBox, tap .
  2. Tap My data → Settings.
  3. Turn off the Bank card manager option.

The app will no longer suggest bank card information in payment forms or offer to save cards. Previously entered card data will remain encrypted on your device and become available as soon as you enable the bank card manager again.

To do this, go to the settings and enable the option.
