This feature works only with an internet connection.
Visual search is a new way to search for information. You don't have to enter a search query: just point your camera at an object, and Yandex will return information about it. For example, take a picture of an apple, and the Smart Camera will tell you how many calories it contains. Take a picture of a car to learn its characteristics and fuel consumption. Yandex computer vision algorithms are used to search for an image matching a sample.
Note
Allow Yandex Start to access your camera and files in the device settings.

On the Home screen in the SmartBox, tap
to open Smart camera. - Point your camera at an object or choose an image from your device's gallery. If the app recognizes the object, it'll mark it with purple dots.
- Tap the purple dot, and the app will give you information about the object, show similar images, and tell you where to search for it on the internet. Tap Products in the picture, and the Smart camera will provide links to stores that sell those products.
